and April may still bring snow. That is what is said about March and this year the saying lived up to its word. King Winter would not give up, but finally, although a bit late, Spring arrived.

Groetjes, Els

Hello Els. What a lovely album you have here. Beautifully presented and the bird shots are fabulous. Here in England we have had our coldest winter AND longest for 10 years!! Even now it isn't warm. It doesn't feel much like spring yet. Els, big thanks for your kind words in my Easter guestbook. I left for Yorkshire, that very same day and returned a couple of days ago to a staggering response. Sending out my thank yous and sorting out my holidays photos is going to take me a very long time, lol!! It was lovely to hear from you. Take care. Much love, Jayne/West Midlands, UK :) xx

Hi Els, this album is lovely. Those crocuses and snowdrops covered with snow, the storks, the catkins, the ladybirds, the frozen pond all of it shows how hard it was to make the winter leave. A very impressive album. Your pictures are wonderful! Somehow the weather was here in the last time quite similar. It is still raining from time to time. Tomorrow shall be rain (we never have a drop of rain in April!) and the temperatures are lovely, - not to hot. All that gave nature a second boost. The roses bloom in a never known way these days. I take it for a good sign for you to have uploaded a new album. Hopefully our parents are fine and hopefully you all together have some wonderful holidays! - all the best to you and yours, - Galit

Dear Els, Brrr I thought our spring had been cold but it seems yours has been even colder. We even had some snow here last night which is almost unheard of in this corner of the country. Anyway as always it is a delight to view your pictures and my favourites have to be those of the ladybirds and the #### willow too. Take care now and lets hope it warms up soon eh :o)Love Jill

To my dismay,we had snow in April this year too. Your photos in this album, are fantastic. You have a way of creating wonderfully artistic photos from simple subjects. I love the Barn Door photo. The small table covered with snow looks like a giant birthday cake. It just needs candles. My favourites are the drops of water on the crocus and on the branch. Perhaps I will enjoy the next snowy day, and look for beauty, instead of complaining. This album was a delight to view. Thank you so much for creating, and sharing it. Greetings from Sandie/Canada

Thank you so much for your kind words in my featured album, Els. It made my day. I had so many reactions, that it is almost impossible to have a look at your pictures at the moment. I hope to return later to your albums. Groeten, Mieke

Groetjes, Juana

Dear Els, thank you so much for visiting my frosty album! Glad you liked it. Great to hear from you! I'm at home now until May 7th after a blood vessel operation (varicose veins surgery) last week on Thursday. I don't have great pains anymore so I just try to enjoy my free time after a very stressful period at work. :D Just am not used to do almost anything; I hope to be able to do walks when spring finally arrives. It seems weeks until it will. I love this album of yours, my friend! I didn't realize you could also receive so much snow. Glad it has melted and you have spring flowers already. Gorgeous photos, I really enjoyed my visit here! Take care Els, thanks for keeping in touch, have a lovely week, hugs from your friend Salla

Hi Els! I waited for your new album long, and it was worth it. Though we are all fed up with snow this year my favorit are Crocuces in snow. I also like very much storks, and lovely hairy cows, and for sure all of the spring flowers. We hope now that Spring is for real. Friendly regards, Ludvik

Hi Els, these are not scenes of spring! Did no one tell winter that it's already spring time? I like your pictures full of snow but I assume you're waitng for much warmer days by now. I'm glad you liked my album of Ecuador & Peru. Unfortunately, not many members visit that album and I'm happy that you found it... and liked it as I liked visiting these 2 countries. Take care, Yair.

Hallo Els!

Hallo Els...This is a wonderful album. The sun makes the snow look so pretty on the trees and the lamp post and the bird feeder and house. I loved seeing the Spring arrive with the yellow flowers and birds and lady bugs! Lady bugs are such good luck, they say. Your photo of the pond is very pretty. I like the geese too. I love the snowdrops and lilac flowers in your father's garden. I am the first to sign this album. I am honoured and I am sure many others will enjoy it as much as I have. hugs and love, Barbara
