Hi Jeanie! Wow! Your African Elephant album is fabulous. Were most of these taken at the NC Zoo (and I assume that is in North Carolina, but what city?)? It looks like you were actually on safari. Great album. In answer to your question in my bird album about the Blue Bellied Roller, the bird was at the St. Louis Zoo in a large caged area of the Bird Garden. We can walk inside this large cage and see several kinds of birds, but this one bird had decided to sunbathe that day. He was lying on a wooden deck (the floor of the big bird cage) all spread out showing all his beautiful colors. I was afraid he was hurt or dead at first, but Bob was standing right next to him and said his eyes were open and he was just sunbathing. So we both started taking photos. He finally flew off to a tree and we took photos of him there. I hope this makes sense. :-)) Thanks for sharing your gorgeous elephant photos and have a wonderful weekend. Sharon
