• Wonderful album! Thank you, Marita, for the lovely comments you made on my summer CC entries! You are always welcome any time long lost Cousin! They didn't have a reunion this year due to illness in the host family that hosts the event. Glad to hear that you are back home from Germany... I hope you enjoyed yourself while there! Have a wonderful week, sweetie! Hugs, June

 • Hallo Marita! Dieses Album wird wieder aktuell: Ostern steht ja schon fast vor der Tuere! Und Euer Texas wird wieder voller Blumen sein! Vielen Dank fuer deine so netten Eintragungen in unserem St-Jean-de-Luz Album!

 • Hi Cowgirl! Thanks for the message! We have been keeping warm by either staying in the house or going for rides in the car! :-)) I think today is going to be in the 20's--not bad! Like a heat wave! How's your shoulder? I hope better each day. I never totally am over the pain from my rotator cuff problems--you'd think I was a pitcher for a World Series baseball team!!! LOL :-)) Big warm fuzzy hugs from the "Spring Chick," Sharon

 • Hi Marita, thanks for your very kind words in my Royal Poinciana album. I didn't see this album when I visited Singapore, but since I've been there for less than one day I probably missed many things... Wishing you a wonderful day, Yair. PS: like you, I wish that both Germany and Brazil will reach the final.

 • Marita, thanks for sighing my guestbook again. The Waterfront is a growing shopping complex around the Cape Town harbor. This album is the first one where I include people. I plan to go there often. The main part of the Mall is an old restored warehouse. Beautiful colorful pictures in this album. Somehow I thought that Texas is just brown and would never associate it with the color and flowers. Too many cowboy movies of dusty little towns? Today is a typical winters day, grey and rainy so your album bring some color into the otherwise gloomy day.

 • Hello Marita, thanks for all your comments in my 'portfolio of dreams' album. The Rainy Road Curves was taken not too far from Scappoose, OR where my youngest daughter lives. I think we had driven over the mountain toward Beaverton, and were on our way back. Rainy Day Cat Nap was actually a photo of my cat, Moody Sundancer, to which I applied some fx in Photoshop. I'm so glad you like Bend in the River. That is one of my favorite places to photograph at all seasons of the year. Organ Mountains -- one can obtain amazing shots of these most any time of day, but sunset is about the best, especially on a stormy day. I am in awe of them, myself. Thanks for all the comments. Now I want to browse your Texas in Bloom album. :-) PS: you could email me at chargerfree@mindspring.co m That way I wouldn't clutter up your comments with responses!

 • Hello Marita. Thanks for the invite to see this lovely album. Sorry, but this is the first opportunity I've had to get here, as it's taken me until now to finally answer all my feature g/b entries. The reason for this is the actual amount I received, it was most most popular feature ever AND the fact that I was without my computer for a while as it wasn't working properly due to a virus and I I lost SO much stuff. At least my photos were safe on Webshots. I must remember to make back up copies of them!! Anyway, back to this delightful album. Thanks for showing me a side of Texas I didn't know existed. Beautiful blooms and countryside, I am well impressed!! Hopefully now I'll have more time to visit my regular friends. Take care. Much love, Jayne xx

 • Hi Marita, Another amazing collection of gorgeous photographs. You have a gift and I feel blessed having been able to view it. Thank you for your vision..I also wanted to say thank you for visiting my "Landscapes" album. I think you saw the "First snow and I might add that it was the only snow". It looked as though we had lots being next to the mound of sand in White Sands but unfortunately like yourself we had the lowest amount on record in NM in 50 or maybe even 60 years. It is very very dry here..we are praying for some kind of moisture..the dought is back and it is not fun. I hate to complain but it would be nice if some of the clouds that coat the sky on occasion would produce somekind of relief. Well, I thank you for stopping by and wish you a beautiful spring, Regards, Carolyn, NM

 • G'day Marita and you are 'top of the pops' with this great Texas in bloom collection. I enjoyed tiptoeing over such beautiful flower carpets (very quietly in the graveyard - didn't want to wake the inhabitants) ;> Brighten the sky is a fab shot too, however my top vote goes to Country Comfort - my sense of humour was tickled by the comfort of the skull resting on the wheel - great caption! Hope your Easter was a fantabulous one - you're one awesome sheila! ((hugs)) Lorraine

But these photos you have has warmed me up a bit ... think of spring, think of spring! Texas in spring looks beautiful - I love fields of flowers! For some scary reason, I like the graveyard photo ... and country comfort where I noticed there's a skull in it. Okay ... should I be getting worried here? Do I need to get myself some therapy??!!! You have a good easter, Sharon

 • My dear Marita, of course I listened to you! I always listen. So, are you still very tired of that walk along Seixal bay? You should see the wonderful clouds I got yesterday! Next week I'll put it here... Seixal bay, second episode, lol. Don't you like bacalhau? I don't believe it!!!! But I agree that the smell of lots of it drying mustn't be very nice... WOW... this album really begins very well! what beautiful blooming! Ohhh, my God! Now I'll be the all evening with The Sound of Music in my years... Your fault, Marita! But I understand perfectly. WOW, so nice! That castor bean plant in number three kills me with its beauty. And field in number 5... My allergy protests a lot, and I sneeze, sneeze... but I love it. I have been yesterday in a lovely spot, full of poppies and other beautiful flowers, took lots of photos and when I arrived home almost everything was gone... I don't know why, I don't know if I should blame the memory card, the camera... or Marita? ... frustrating... must go there again. Oh, red fishes and water lilies! so sweet... Wow, that beautiful yellow field in #6... Aaaahhh! This ones are wild too??? That field of bluebonnets is absolutely gorgeous! And you had company! These ones are bigger than my ducks! That mix of rose and blue in #10, I tell you... my colors. And all these poppies... Gosh... so lovely! "Heaven can wait" I loved the movie and I loved the photo, also! It's the firts time I download a cemetery, your fault! Number 16 is great. Marita, that cow looks more distrustful than happy:) Ohhhh... that blue house and the blue road in the same tone than the flowers is really country serenity! How beautiful! And what a pretty magnolia... Und Grüße zum Garten Maritas:) It's that ok??? I LOVE #24! Completely! The poppies, the road with that wood fence, the mill, it's perfect! And, of course, this album must have horses to be perfect:) They are great! And more beautiful popppies... May I take one of them to put in my rocks? Yesterday when I passed by the others were not so fresh anymore... More beautiful water lilies! Paintbrushes field is wonderful. 31 - The lucky ones! It is blooming, isn't it? I love the mix in 32. In 33 I can't see the cows expression but the photo is very happy! The horses look happy, yes... hmmmmmm... #37 is outstanding! I love that cactus! Ohhh, that lake is so great! And the sea of poppies... I love #51 too. and 53, and all the others! Oh my God! This time I really beated my record of long messages. But it is ok, because this is a tomorrow's feature, so, it's perfectly justified. Congratulations my dear Marita, You are GRAND! I downloaded almost all of them, so, if my computer crashes it will be your fault too! Viele Küsse und Umarmungen von diesem Freund, Rosa
