• Hi Kris Flowering dogwoods are my favourite flower too. I planted my cherokee chief variety last autumn and it flowered from mid April to first week in May. I must have taken almost a hundred photos over those 3 weeks . . . they were so beautiful. The soft light and simplicity of your shots are wonderful.

 • Hi Kris! I think the Dogwood tree is my favorite flowering tree of spring. Your photography in this album is superb. When I was your age (meaning young), rasing two children (and you have 3), I didn't even know how to use a camera, except to take photos of the kids. You are doing a great job. Thanks for the messages in my albums. We live in St. Charles and go through Lake St. Louis quite frequently to get to Columbia to see that new grandson. Thanks for your concern and yes, he is doing great for being born 5 weeks early. Our granddaughters, who are coming to visit from Louisville, KY, are actually 12 and 13 years old, and they like for us to talk "adult" to them. :-)) Our daughter and son are only 3 1/2 years apart in age, but our daughter had her children at a normal time in life and our son and his wife were married for 8 years before our new grandson was born. Hey, I'm writing a book. Have a wonderful evening. Hugs, Sharon

 • Hi Kris. I have to tell you how much I have enjoyed this album. You have taken some superb shots of these Dogwoods and very artistically done too, if I may say so. I do like the 'new' feature where we can comment on individual photos. Great idea from Webshots. I have discovered that this flower seem to be very popular amongst our American members. A really beautiful album Kris. Thanks for offering to take a pic of the 'old/beaten up' mail box for me. If you add it to one of your albums, let me know where it is, I can then make a copy of it. Can't wait to receive it... Have a good Sunday. A big hug, Jayne xx

 • Thanks Kris, I enjoyed my time in Moscow and I'm happy you liked the results :o) I love this album of yours, very difficult to experiment in b&w on subjects that scream for color, but you did it! Ciao :o) Roberto

 • Hi Kris, What a loverly shade of Pink these dogwoods are, and some good macro shots as well, I to like the black and white it seems to bring the charactor of the flower out more, Sorry it has taken me so long to get here but it is not showing on my lists of what is new, I hate this new system of letting us know when friends and fav have a new album, still I got here in the end. Hope you are well and please take care with all them tornado's about, hugs Ken xx

 • WOW Kris!! These are absolutely gorgeous!! I love dogwoods - my Mum has a beautiful white one in her garden and I love the way it looks as if it's branches have a dusting of snow when it is in flower. I'm going to put one of these images in my favourites - just might take me a while to choose which one! Thankyou very much for your kind words on my new website and for adding it to your favourites :) I will be posting up my U.S. travel photos on that site after our trip and will also put up some photos from my new camera. Hope you and your family had a wonderful Easter and the kids didn't eat too much chocolate (I know I did - I always do! lol!) Lots of hugs, Kate

 • Good Morning Kris. What beautiful images of dogwoods. I grew up with Pacific Dogwood that grows wild in Washington State. I have learned to enjoy and appreciate the other types over the years. You have captured some beautiful blossoms. I have added you to my favorites. I have visited you a long time ago, but some how lost your homepage link. But now that I have found you.. Sounds like a song! lol Have a great day. Lynn, Oregon/USA
