Dear Friend Simona. Thanks for your more than nice comment in my " Lago di Como" albom. As I had told many times befor, Italy is A Meca ( Or Jerusalem) for me. In Italy I can find so many differents between the landscapes and the people in the north and the south. The dolomits in the north and the semi oreintal villages in Campania. Nothing like Ombria or Toscana all over the world, and no island like the beautiful island of Elba I will never forget. As I told you, Sardinia is next on my list, and this is the reason I'm drinking in thirsty your most beautiful alboms I love so much. RAN.

Mi querida Simonetta, La fotografía consiste precisamente en captar la imagen, justo en el instante en que la luz consigue elevar el objeto, la figura o el paisaje a la categoría de lo bello y por tanto de lo universal y convertir aquel instante en algo perenne, eterno. Dear Simona, What a wonderful album around the beautiful flamingo and a few of their other friends, their world around Cagliari, with great photos and equally great captions! I love the way the story unfolds from morning light right up to the end of their day, with many great and intimate shots! It is really difficult to pick one individual photo over the others - some of those that impressed me most were No. 1 (Perfect Reflection) and Nos, 22 and 32 - Pelicans in Flight. I have seen many flamingos standing in place, but never in flight with their looooong legs outstretched. Somehow they look more impressive in flight than the herons and egrets we have around here. I cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoyed the slide show - a real feast for the eyes! Thank you for the invitation to view this great album! With a warm hug and best wishes from Florida - bruno

Finalmente, dopo anni di appostamenti, strategie, ripiegamenti e delusione, ecco finalmente ce l'hai fatta. E' UN CAPOLAVORO che merita tanti riconoscimenti e premi. Ciao Simona, altro che cicogne. Finalmente sei riuscita a fotografare i flamingos, con risultati sorprendenti. National Geografic dovrebbe fare un pensierino su di te e sulla tua attitudine ad impreziosire e rendere sorprendente il già magnifico spettacolo della natura. Concordo con Ruggero sulla eccellenza di alcune foto, tutte peraltro estremamente curate e interessanti, anche dal punto di vista della technicality. In particolare trovo entusiasmanti quasi tutte quelle della pagina 2, 4 e 5. Insomma un album da feature che se non arriva si deve solo al fatto che in WS stanno cercando di lanciare le new entry trascurando un po' quelli veramente bravi come te. Ma tant'è, la nostra passione per la fotografia ovviamente prescinde dalla audience e si alimenta della considerazione e del rispetto di quelli che ci apprezzano ed anche della gioia della condivisione e della promozione della nostra bella Italia e dei suoi luoghi meno conosciuti. WOOOOOOOW e ora non ci resta che attendere la feature!!! Che meraviglia !! Non solo il luogo è splendidio e ricco di spunti (sapevo di queste oasi vicino a Cagliari, ma mai le avevo viste così da vicino), ma hai fatto una raccolta davvero piena di foto splendide. Bellissime soprattutto quelle con gli uccelli colti in volo o riflessi nell'acqua.... le mie assolute favorite sono moltissime: 1, 4, 19, 22, 31, 43, 50 (WOOOW), 54, 56, 60 e 67.... insomma un GRANDE APPLAUSO!! Simonetta ahora te digo mis favoritas ( seria mas facil decir cual es la que NO me gusta, seria la numero 68 - que no existe!!!) # 67 masterpiece, los tres flamingos y sus reflejos, las dos gaviotas y sus reflejos; los flamingos con sus cabezas bajo el ala...para hacer una foto asi hay que saber y hay que tener mucha suerte tambien..el agua ese espejo magico ..una maravilla. Luego 1, 41, 50, 60 estos tambien obras maestras, luego 6, 7, 11,12,18 21,23, 28,21, 35, 43,47,55 64, 65. The Flamingo's in flight was terrific. You took alot of pictures of birds....there was an old Alfred Hichcock(American Film Director) who made a scary movie called the birds. Enjoyed my visit through your lens.
