Album Description:
Canyon Point was the 97th peak to be added to the DPS guide. Not an impressive peak, especially with 90-105 degree temps! Lots of flowers and lizards here. (wk 15, day 2)

Neat trip! Lizard #1 is a zebra tailed lizard, and lizard #2 is a desert spiny lizard. At least I think. Check out the reptile section on the DV page... their photos look just like yours! Very cool; don't think Ive ever seen any. Last year I was introduced to the desert 5 spot and just love them. Unfortunately, all my sightings this year have been when the wind has already picked up and I can't even get a shot. Lots at the Father Crowley site.

Cori- Absolutley great shots!! The lizard ones were exceptional, as were the flowers. I loved the double globe mallow one.
