Wonderful Portfolio of their stately beauty and presence my friend, I bet their frangrance is esquisite!! Thanks for sharing them with us...Merike is in for a Wonderful Surprise!! I also appreciate your heartwarming and kind comments Galit in J&J's dedication album!! YES, the Blest Memories will last forever, making all the preperation and work (really it was a Lot of Fun) worth every drop of sweat and blood (well, would you believe just a little nervousness)!!! My "list" was 10 pages long, but only had a few words of advice at the top...but it was a great joke as No One knew (not even Connie) what I was going to do, hehe!!! Glad you enjoyed your walk throught the events with me...we had Fun, huh! ;-) Well, tomorrow we celebrate "Mothers Day" here, honoring the Blessed Calling a woman gets to call her own!!! Hope I'm not out of line wishing You a Joyous and Happy "Mothers Day" Galit! Your devotion and love of family has my Deepest Respect!!! GB, Ted

  • Hi Galit, I guessed it right! now I even know the name of this tree. Thanks for sharing another beautiful album. I had no idea that this tree can be presented so lovely, since I personally don't like it very much. But, you did it again! Wishing you a wonderful week, Yair.

  • Hello Galit and Happy Mother's day, I so much enjoyed your visit at the Ranch with me. What a beautiful album this is..I fell in love the the Jacarandas in Australia, the combination of the beautifully coloured blossoms and the feathery fern-like leaves is so attractive! This awesome tree is found in so many beautiful places in the world, Hawaii, Australia, Asia and even in Israel. I so hope to get to visit your incredible country one of these years, the more I webshot and the more photos I see the more I want to go! Hugs from Houston, Marita

  • Galit, I send Happy Mother's Day wishes to you though your day is nearly over. You will teach and show young Yoav the beauty in his country, including the "Velvet Jacaranda" trees. They are the most magnificent flowing tree I have ever seen. They grow in Florida, but not as far north as where we are in Central FL. You have a huge display of them there; thank you for sharing your beauty! ... Ladybug hugs, Judy

  • Dear Galit, Thankyou for your kind birthday greetings. How did you remember? Sorry I haven't done much work lately. I have been having a new kitchen installed. They started on January 17th, and still haven't finished. I may put up an album of the chaos!.... I love this album. Jacaranda trees are high on my list of favourites, they are SO beautiful, and such a gorgeous colour. Your photos are stunning. We can't grow them in England, so I have downloaded lots of them to use as screensavers, so that I can see them every day. I could not have wished for a better birthday present......If I should suddenly disappear, it will be because W/shots will not accept my credit card to renew my membership, even though I use it every time I go shopping, and even have bought things on line with it. Can't understand it. Hope it won't happen, but time's up tomorrow!.. send you a BIG hug, with love, Sheila.

  • Galit, I am overwhelmed, don't know what to say!! Except thank you for making this gorgeous album, the tree is so lovely! I have only seen some first signs of the flowering in Madeira in 1998, this year they were not at all ready to bloom round my birthday. You have a great talent in making touching albums of flowers and trees. You have moved my heart, dear, kind friend! Lots of love, Merike

  • Hello Galit, thank you for your message from the weekend. Yeah, I did put quite a few albums on in one day, didn't I?! I was on a roll ... it did take me a lot of time! I just found this album of yours - jacarandas are one of my favorite trees! I LOVE the color of the flowers - so stunning! I've got a few months to wait yet before they start flowering here seeing we're just going into winter here! Cheers, Sharon

  • Hello Galit, you have really done the Jacaranda justice. it is my favorite tropical (or rather sub-tropical) tree. First time I went to Africa, I drove down a street that had them lining both sides & in full bloom. The sight made me totally shell shocked! They have a lot on the streets of Buenos Aires but I missed the blooming there. Have seen them in 3 or 4 other places around the world though & in bloom, but never in same quantity as in Africa. Be back to view your other new tree album, but it is late now for me to be on the keyboard. Eric

  • Hello Galit, This is a wonderful album of a very special kind of tree, last year I saw a Jacaranda in cyprus but have to admit it is nowhere as good as these. I can not believe that our paths have not crossed before looking at some of the names below. and your friends and fav list. I will in due time come back and have a look at some of your other albums, do take care and kind regards from England, Ken

  • Good morning, Galit: I noticed your comment in pavamo67 newest diving & snorkeling album. How did you get the rainbow congraultions to show up? I can't seem to change the b&w font or paste it from another document that does color. Anyway, I LOVE JACKARANDAS and you are right about #4. Best I've ever seen. Great album! Nancy

  • Hallo Galit!

  • Hi Galit! Wonderful Tree albums are your speciality and you have done it again with this beautiful dedication to the Jacaranda. The lovely views of the full tree give visual indication of its size; #13 is a stunning close-up of the flower details and #15 shows the mimosa leaf in its beauty. Of couse we enjoy their beauty here in Australia too, although some suburbs seem to have far more of them than others. Not many close to where I live, but I always enjoy them when passing through other suburbs when they create their show of purple in Spring. Believe they are a native of Brazil. Many thanks for your lovely long message and the interest you have shown in my albums. Always nice to hear from you, even though you must be very busy. Best wishes and keep making time to enjoy the Spring flowers around you.. Gladys, Western Australia.

  • Hello Grannie, Interesting species of tree, it sure is a beautiful color of lavender. Looked up on the internet if the tree has any value in the wood, but didn't see anything written about it. #36 looks familiar in this territory, we call it 'Bears Breeches', in fact it grows within Shore Acres SP a few miles from here and I have a picture of it in that album. Anyway, thank you for uploading this nice album. Nice shots. Give my best to your family. Ron/Oregon Coast

  • Dear Galit, a very beautiful album!!! You did the best to show us this very beautiful tree. The colour is magnificent! I bet you can stay for hours and admire it! Are they fragrant, the flowers? Thanks for visiting my peonies, because they ARE peonies, no doubt - the descendants of those brought over from China many hundreds of years ago. And improved over and over by the Japanese horticulturalists. They are a sight to see.I appreciate your message left in my g/b.Friendliest regards from Gabriela

  • Dear Galit. I had found where the photos had been taken. The Sapir center yard near the mall in Kefar-Saba. I hope I'm right. as my optometrist is near by.... This tree , and the photos are most beautiful. I have few trees like this near my home, and when season start, as it is now, God forbid, I have to park in a safe place, as if not - in the morning I will find a very dirty car.....In Even-Yehoda , there is a long street with the same trees but with yellow flowers. when I pass there , I always said to my myself that it is pity I do not have my camera with me. But the main point is that it is a great albom with most beautiful photos I loved very much. RAN

  • Hi again Galit, just to let you know, we were in Spain last week. Guess what! the Jacaranda trees were in bloom, made me happy. They were mainly small as it was a new area & no where near as majestic as your tree & those I have seen in other places, welcome never the less. Eric

  • Hello Galit, You album make me homesick. I used to live in South Africa in Pretoria, which is also known as 'The Jacaranda City'. The streets are lined with Jacarandas and it is always a most beautiful sight when they start to flower - even the mess they make in the streets when the flowers drop, is quite spectacular! Thank you for sharing these images. Best wishes, Mandy (UK)

  • Hi Galit. Thank you so much for visiting my Jacaranda album and for your very nice comments. Those were just snap shots I took while hurrying thrue the city. I hope to be able to take some time this year October and get some better shots. I just had to come and look for your album. It is amazing to find that the Jacaranda tree also grow in other parts of the world. Even in Mexico - Can you believe it! Take care and have a great evening. (It is evening in South Africa - don't know about Israel?) Izebelle
