From Seattle <> I echo every thoughtful, historical appreciating viewpoint expressed in other's posts here. I totally appreciated these scenes and your excellent work in telling this visual story. I noticed all elements in scenes that made up the scene in their entirety: sky and surrounding desert. Thanks for your photography-WORK exhibit here, it was a pleasure. Gary

Bob, There are so many of these 'ghost town' relics from long-time gone towns that have disappeared when a new highway is pressed into the landscape. Its really too bad that they can't be used in some other way. Best regards on your Featured album and thanks for your time. An Oregon Coast Greetings. Ron

Congratulations on raising awareness about Miller's Garage and for having it chosen as today's feature. It is sad to see the demise of these once thriving businesses and I hope that there is plenty of support to have it retained for Historical Interest. Best wishes.. Gladys, Western Australia.

Congratulations on this featured album. Boy we can relate to these old cafe's and gas stations, especially in the South, having spent time in the military and having to travel very often. Gas in Missouri was 19cents a gallon... Trudy-Oregon

Congratulations on this interesting feature. It is sad isn't it how our modern interstate highways and byways have led to the demise of such wonderful family businesses? I enjoyed your captions which really gave meaning to the album. Have a great weekend. Marita

"A Forgotten Segment of Roadside Americana! For many years, Miller's was a true 'desert oasis' on the great U.S. Highway 80, "The Broadway of North America", "The Coast to Coast Highway", which spanned 2,500 miles through eight states from San Deigo to Tybee Island, Georgia. Featured in "The Old U.S. 80 Highway Traveler's Guide" by Eric J. Congratulations on your featured album. What history you have captured here. I did not even know this place existed. I lived in San Diego for years in the 1980's and never ventured that way. Thank you for sharing with us because this might be gone before you know it. Have an wonderful day. Best wishes from Oregon, Lynn

A casualty of the pasteurization of the American driving experience, there are a lot of these derelicts across the country. The interstate highway system has so homogenized the landscape, every place looks alike. Too bad. Nice job with the documentary piece, and congratulations on your feature. Enjoy. Fred in East Tennessee USA

Interesting album of the past. It makes you wonder if there are ghosts walking among the rubble--people who would see Al every day maybe? Congratulations for this feature. Gin the artist

Congratulations on a facinating feature. When I tour over there from England, I enjoy finding places like this (my wife hates me stopping with camera in hand). Your attention to detail is very good, I would probably have had to make do with a couple of photos in a larger album as I find so much to photograph in USA. Eric

Congratulations of your featured album. I found it quite interesting. I enjoy seeing old and deserted buildings, and wonder about the story behind them. Is it all alone out there? I really got a kick out of the toilet. LOL. Sharon from Minnesota, USA
