Hey Yair. Like the new album. What a strange and beautiful tree. Thanks for taking shots like these btw. It's nice to see the things that grow elsewhere and how they differ from place to place. Take care and God Bless.

Dear Yair, You have certainly done justice to our flame tree. You have captured some beautiful close-ups and the blossoms look great silhouetted against the blue sky. There are also some very interesting shots of the trees with combined backgrounds of buildings and the sky. I really like that idea. I now feel I will take more notice of these trees and will probably try to get some shots myself. Thank you for sharing this album. Best wishes, Judith, from Australia.

Hello again Yair my Friend. Well you have done it again, another SURPERB album!! This time featuring one of OUR Native Trees. I love the way you have shown it growing in one of your streets in photo number 10. Also, the way you captured the sharp colours against the brilliance of your Blue sky in number 28. I Hope all is well with you. and you are staying safe. Warmest wishes as always. Trish

Hi Yair! I especially LOVE red coloured plants and trees for their unique red colour which certainly all create attractive photos! These are truly some the most beautiful and friendly flames which we all love to see. Flaming trees with flaming skies are so harmonic. Flaming trees against brilliant blue skies are so striking! When can I have such an ablum? HAPPY WEEKEND TO YOU, DEAR FRIEND! CS

Hello Yair and I knew what this tree was before I saw your first caption!! I thought to myself, what's Yair doing with one of our trees!! LOL. I imagine the pics were taken local to you and we must have similar climates and conditions because Galit has an album or two of Aussie trees as well. Great photography and excellent captions, which are vital in an album such as this. Thanks for looking at the additions to my Kangaroos album - it's always fun to be out there among them as certain times of day you can almost reach out and touch them and they don't back away! Can be a nuisance when you're trying to hit a golf ball and they just stand there staring at you and making YOU move!! Best wishes, Peter

Hi Yair! It is a pleasure to look at your new red tree! I think the red bloom is so beautiful, that it will be always the first to get attention! Your trees are very high indeed! Those I told you about, are less high. They are some hundreds of trees new here in town and for sure less than 5 years old. I assume you found a smaller tree in the end - - - or you found a ladder for your brilliant close-ups. They look just beautiful against the blue sky! I think this place is around Ibn Gvirol/King Shaul St in Tel-Aviv, isn't it?- Have a wonderful day!:-) - Galit

This is beautiful! I think this may actually be what I thought was the Royal Poinciana - got confused by them both being called the Flame Tree but this is the one I'm more familiar with :) The are such a stunning bit of colour in the streets and you capture all their aspects so wonderfully as with your last tree albums - well done! Like Sharon, I would also love to see an album of the Jacarandah (if you have any in Israel of course!). I have been away for a few days so have a lot of catching up to do. Take care, Kate

Hi Yair my Friend, Thank you for your kind words in my new album on Sydney in the summer of 2004. I received your e-mail from WebShots whilst I was only half way through building it. (I'm no where near as practiced as you.) I showed Julie your comments and she was very pleased to know how much you liked her photos. I also posted another album yesterday it is showing Rupertswood Mansion, where the Cricket world's "ASHES" were created. It is to the north west of Melbourne in a place called Sunbury. I had an occasion to visit there last September. I think you might find it interesting. Thanks again, take care, Warmest regards as always, Trish.

Dear Yair, beautiful pics for a beautiful tree. Thanks once more for a new lovely album. I did not know how to name this Illawara flame tree, to me Illawara is a variety of a palm (Bungalow palm, Archonthophoenix cunninghamiana, I've seen some in T.-A. area). I remember having seen this red-flowering tree in T.-A but I was unable to put a name on it. Do you know if the fruits are edible? (I'm not asking you to taste them !!!). And what about the fragrance of the blooms, do they smell nice? I don't remember. Well, I'm realizing my questions fall well beyond the simple photo field. I enjoyed this colourful album very much. It raised my curiosity about this plant, I'm going to check further but I fear this illawara flame tree is definitely frost tender. You're very lucky to live under a sub-tropical climate! I'm waiting for your next album, they are always beautiful! I hope things will calm down and really improve towards peace on the south-eastern shore of our big pond. Take care, my friend. Have a good week, Gerard

Hi Yair! Just discovered your new album, and what a beauty it is!! Great photography doing justice to yet another of our Aussies that is happily growing in your country. Don't think you will need to visit Australia now because you already have our blue skies and so many of our trees... Thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures in this delightful and well-presented album.. Best wishes.. Gladys, Western Australia.

Hi Yair! You always discover such lovely trees to capture! This one is a really wonder, the flower, even when is as a small bud yet, and the leaves, so pretty cut. This time if I chose favorites would be all of them. Gorgeous flower, with such a beautiful shape and that fleshy texture, looking almost as a fruit in some of the photos. The fruit is also very interesting... Beautiful, the photos where it is against the wonderful blue sky! A very nice contrast. I also liked those photos where the background colors divide the tree by the center. The two halves are rather different... A great effect! And I also loved the beautiful carpet on the floor, this is a thing to which I never resist... lovely! Thank you so much for more this new beautiful wonder of Nature presented to my knowledge. I downloaded several photos because they are excellent screensavers. Thank you also for your nice words in my Quinta da Regaleira Part 1 album. If you got curious, Part 2 is already posted, too:) All the best, Rosa

Hi again Yair, Thank you for your kind comments on my NEW albums. In answer it is best explained like this clipping from the information on the Rupertswood site. "“Rupertswood” is a place steeped in history, perhaps best known as the birthplace of the “Ashes”, a tradition created from a social game between the visiting English Cricketers and a local Sunbury side, made up largely of Rupertswood staff." ..... Apparently the English lost the game and the wicket stumps were burned .... Hence "The Birth of the ASHES" If you would like more information about this beautiful place you could log onto http://www.rupertswood.com ... I hope this answers your question (and THANKS!! for asking ... I will put that in my explanation, for others who don't know about the "ASHES") Take Care my Friend, Trish.

Me encantan.Tus fotografías, algo de eso me insinúan y las raras pero lindas flores de esta especie que tú muestras, hacen de tú albúm algo muy bonito y especial . Hello again Yair, In answer to your question on "The Ashes" ... Yes it is a cricketing test-match competition between Australia and England. Knowing your thirst for knowledge, there is a site you can look at to find out more about this subject, it is ... http://www334notout.com/ashes/index.htm .... I have to be honest I've just looked it up myself, as I'm not into cricket and am not very knowledgeable on this subject. THANKS!! for challenging me on this subject, please keep on doing so. It makes me learn more about things too!!! Yair, I do hope you are safe in these troubled times. Take care my friend, Warmest Regards, Trish.

<font color="#000090" > Hi Yair, These are beautiful trees and wonderful addition to any urban landscape. I particularly like those images in which you, very imaginatively, have aligned the trunk of the tree with the vertical edge of a building thus altering the symmetry. <font color="#b00000" > Greetings from Florida, Paul. <font color="#000090" > P.S. Thank you for your kind words on my Virtual Zoo album. I see that the tragedy continues. If it must go on, I hope you accomplish the clean-up as soon as possible and with as little loss of innocent life as possible. Unfortunately, the ultimate source of the evil lies across other borders. font>

Hi Yair, That first shot is great! I like how you lined up the trunk of the tree with the building! I do use Dreamstime and I am enjoying it. Not getting rich but am making a few bucks here and there. I have found with selling stock imagery you need to really take alot of shots and try to see the subject through the eyes of a designer or someone that will be making a montage of which your image will be a part. When I first got involved I always looked at the highest selling images, entered contests and started looking at advertisements or articles to see what kind of images are wanted. It is very impersonal and you have to roll with the punches. I recommend DT and really enjoy the learning experience I am getting from it. Here is my link to get you back there: http://www.dreamstime.com/littlemacproductions_info Enjoy! Eti

Wow - what a tree! I've never seen this before and it is amazing. I like the beautiful red/blue colors in your pictures, especially the close-ups! An interesting and surprising album - thanks for sharing. And thanks for your attention to my last album; I appreciate that very much. Best regards from Zurich (Switzerland), Mike

Hi Yair, Hope all is well with you. This is a lovely album of a lovely tree. You have communicated a real sense of appreciation of your subject, I think. I particularly like the shot with the seed pods included for they are part of the story as well as the charming flowers. Joyce in Adelaide

Hi Yaire! I'm not 100% sure but I think this is the tree that attracts lots of lorrikeets, a beautiful Aussie parrot. Thanks for looking at my shortshooter albums mate. I don't know exactly where you live but keep your head down mate. Cheers Al

Hi Yair: This is a super album. What a beautiful tree as shown in #12, Numbers 2, 11, & 29 show the blossom so nicely. Lovely album. Thank you for your nice comments on my Roses Album and yes the roses are my own. This is a first year for the bushes so hopefully they will be much nicer next summer. Thank you again. Yair, Shalom! Thanks for your friendship and encouragement, and, yes, my "fire" album is quite unusual. The fire on the mountain was spreading so fast, I was able to take several hundred shots. I only wish your "fires" were caused by lightening instead of terrorists. I'm glad you're ok. By the way, I love your flame tree album...Michael/Wyoming and Texas
