Dear Roberto, OOOO I'm first I wonder how ;o) Oh your superb pictures brought back so many memories of my wonderful day at the WHF and now I know I have to go back there soon. It truly is a wonderful place and I'm so glad that you have found it also. I have a hunch you might not be able to resist a return visit. Take care now. Love, Jill

Hello Roberto! Did you feel like you were in heaven? I know you love big cats, that's why I ask. I'm glad you had a nice time. You got some lovely shots. Hope no cats rushed you as they did poor Jill! Best, Kris :)

Congratulations on your beautiful album of these magnificent large cats. I particularly like the outstanding work you did with the eyes and those warm colors you were able to capture. You also did a splendid job minimizing the impact on the images of the abundance of lattice fencing material around. Greetings from Florida, Paul.

Hi Roberto, I had to leave and return to finish your album. This looks like a wonderful place to visit the big cats. It looks like you can really get up close and personal. You are right, only your best photos go into your albums. Something I'm not always concerned about. Anyway, thank you for stopping by my albums and leaving some paw prints behind. I always appreciate reading your comments and enjoy hearing from you. It appears your summer is treating you well. Happy August to you, Ray

Superb cat shots and love the captions as always. This is a duh question, I'm sure, but how did you get such great shots without glass or cage between you? Donna
said
debkd 2006.08.17 at 04:41:17 PDT
Thank you for that info. And I've done both except on far more docile animals than you were dealing with. I'm amazed they didn't have double barriers so you couldn't even get close to the cage. That was what was confusing me. And by the way my Fair two album is just getting started. Many of my chicken and rabbit shots (that will be added) were done the same way peeking thru the wire, but that was tame stuff compared to your big cats. Thanks again, Donna

Gah, I wish I was competetion for you. That would be in at least another 7 years time, if you can just quit getting better, okay? lol. I am soo excited with my new lens. It and manual focus are helping me actually catch what I am aiming for. Now, if I can just master exposures...:) (Eventually I will dig you up the pics of my daughter meeting a lemur. Not that we EVER break rules at zoos or anything. )So, along with my special mastery of technical mumbo jumbo comes the spectacular inability to express myself on Wednesdays. I meant to say feedback! With all the server problems, I wouldn't really go to the support guys. :)

Thank you :) It's a sigma ex macro hsm 70-200 with a fixed 2.8 aperture. And I understand what most of that means. Which is also progress. lol. I also got an off camera flash, but it is in for repairs, since I tripped right after I bought it. :)

;0) A presto, campione!!! Amazing album. You do great work and have an excellent eye for composition, light and color. We have a similar facility in Indiana, USA that houses over 200 big cats, all rescues from some horror show life or another. Check out my Exotic Feline Rescue Ctr album.
