Great album, Marita! I don't think you can take a bad photo in Colorado. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Wish I still had the energy to just pick up and go on a long trip like this one! BTW, I have a sister who lives in Colorado Springs. Haven't been able to drive up to see her, but phone her every day. I didn't see photos of southern New Mexico, so I guess you'll just have to come back and stop by here so I can show you around a bit. My legs are not real good with walking these days, but I can surely drive you through a few backroads. Oh yeah, bet your husband is not missing the heat in northern Oregon lately. Hi Marita; Thank you so much for inviting me to see this amazing album. I was very young the last time I was in Colorado and I don't remember anything like your pictures. This has been a very special treat and I enjoyed it very much. Also, thank you for your sweet words on my Seattle Street of Dreams 2006 album. I still haven't added all of my pictures from that day, but it was an awesome experience. I think house #3 was 8000 sq.ft and $5.5M and that is without the furnishings. So many incredible ideas, but all of the houses were wonderful. Maybe you should move back up here to the Pacific Northwest. We don't have rattle snakes, too many misquitos or any Hurricanes. Once - as I photographed for my son (who was in Japan then) the railway station of my place, which was still under construction! Ten minutes later came a Police car along! They thought I was taking pictures for a planed bomb attack . . . . .And I was out there only with my camera, no papers . . . ! You asked were I went to college: my places of studies in Germany were mainly Hannover and in Kassel. Hi Marita, I last went to the mountains at Easter & added some more pics to the album. Maybe it's these pics you didn't see before or it may be that I've added photos that didn't make the first cut. Love the Rocky Mountains photos especially number 11. Looks amazing on my screensaver. Have seen some great pics of the rockies on this site but may not get there for a few years. Have my heart set on seeing parts of Europe (France, Italy especially) & the UK first. The mountains are freezing in winter .. by our standards that is. Bring on the warm spring weather. P.S., Sadly, we did know people that lost their lives in this fire. 14 people lost their lives and over 2,200 homes lost. And the guy that started it gets to pick up trash in the community for punishment!

Hi Marita, I just recalled that I forgot to answer your question regarding the butterflies - most of the pictures were taken in a greenhouse, these butterflies cannot be found in Israel in nature. A few pictures were taken in New Zealand, Croatia and my garden. Wishing you a wonderful week, Yair.

Dear Marita, Webshots tells me that you have changed something Whether you have or not I thouroughly enjoyed viewing this wonderful album once more. As a mountain lover I know that the weather can be appaling at times but when the sun shines everything it transformed into a stunning landscape and your pictures show what its like good weather or bad. Wow, Marita, you have really planned a hectic, comprehensive and excellent trip for Mr.Sorge. I am sure he is going to be inundated with excellent beers when he is in Germany. Hey, Rauchbier is really kool, ok! Like everything else you have to tune your taste buds to it. If I could get it in India, I'd drink barrels of it. Schlenkerla ist noch was etwas ganz anderes! Hast Du es mal probiert, in Bamberg? Wenn nicht, dann hast Du wirklich das Leben noch nich ganz genossen!!
