Hi Marita, Just love the Squirrel! hope you are well, We are dealing with Euine Influeza at the present, all the girls have it! and Zoey has 3 weeks till foaling! hopeflly she will be over it by the time bubs comes! Your handsome black boy is fine and EI free at present, he has little Mindy for company, she was leased with payment in two months, at the start of EI lock down decieded she didn't want her and dumped her in a paddock without grass or water! so we had get a special permit to bring her home, she was a little poor but is now on the road to recovery and another lady has left us a deposit on her! enough rambling take care your mates from OZ Susan

I admire your varied abilities! Yes , your pictures are just superb. To pick out the shots as the sun went down would be unfair to the others but they are just about the best I have seen and the two closing shots of the dragon fly are wonderful too. Hi again Marita, well you 'snuck' this one in when my mind was elsewhere! big panics at the time about my 2 big trips last year, only got the A one by the skin of my teeth 20 mins before departing on the Pacific cruise. So you are now in 'big chip' land with the R1, I have to be content with the H5 & had a battle with the other half to get that! LOL. Do you view the Sony forum on dpreview.com?, I find lots of usefull info there from some experts. Now shoulders are a pain & difficult to put right in a short time. Daughter has been told the same as you re poss op. She is actually a physio teacher at a University, but still looks like 12 months job at least. Very painfull for her with a young growing baby. Hope you get yours sorted soon. Eric

Hi Marita, thanks for visiting my Bicycles album. You probably skipped the album description, I did dedicate the album to Roza. I warned her a long time ago that if she does not create an album of bicycles I'll have to do it... As for Yom Kippur, bicycles are definitely not part of the tradition (and they even contradict the spirit of the day) but that became the children's only day in the year when they can ride the bikes without any cars in the streets so they do enjoy that. As for Yom Kippur greetings - I'm not sure how to translate it to English. It would sound meaningless like "May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year". Wishing you a wonderful week, Yair.

Thanks for sharing that your dad in Germany had a quaduple bypass two years ago on his 65th birthday. I can only imagine what an anxious and emotional time it was for you. I bow to your superior abilities! You must be delighted with these! I kid you not they are just superb. To pick out the shots as the sun went down would be unfair to the others but they are just about the best I have seen and the two closing shots of the dragon fly are wondrous. You have handled the macros beautifully but have found, as I have, that the auto focus can be thrown somewhat when you are trying to shoot a distant object through trees. I made this mistake just yesterday because I forgot to change to centre spot. Darn it, it's easy enough to do. Were you shooting on max resolution? I do that all the time now so 1gb cards don't last all that long! Thanks for showing me these - I had been wondering how you were making out. So glad you have decided to keep it and it'll be interesting to be able to compare notes as we go along. Fair dinkum, you've done a ripper job mate! Love and hugs, Peter
