'Tis a beautiful album for sure. I take it you live in the thumb area. I haven't been that way since I was a kid...many decades ago. To answer your questions: That is the Sturgeon River in Baraga County. And I don't know if people kayak on the Paint River. Most of the rivers have dams on them at one point or another. So, depending how far you go, you might have to portage around 'em. Have a blessed Easter! Shirley
