Damn, I left my whole reply here before but it has vapourized. I'll try and give you a reasonable facsimile of my previous reply. I should learn to copy every message I write just in case it goes away! So, how are you, Andy, some of us are still here! Mind you, quite a few have moved over to Red Bubble also, but it is photo oriented rather than album oriented. Not my preference but I left some photos there anyhow! Anyway, I at least made the effort to respond to AGs survey request of late. I really DO NOT LIKE the volume of ads all over the screen even if they are only AG ads. They are just as annoying regardless! I still have my friends here on WS, I guess the question is is that enough? It's nice to near from you, Andy dear! Leslie

I miss the old Webshots more than I know how to say. I loved the friends and intimacy that we all had. I was a member for many years despite what it says now that I've signed up again. I, too, left and went to Fotki. I like it there on some levels, but it still wasn't like the old Webshots. The biggest draw for me at Fotki has been all my old WS friends. I see some are coming back here so I signed up again too. I'm still learning my way around. At least CNET isn't involved anymore. I think they were a big part of the problem with the changes. I'll give this a try and see what happens. I'll stay with both sites for a while. Huge hugs for you Andy, my dear friend!!

Fotki doesn't have intimacy either so I feel like I'm left to make do here, here is where I belong despite all we've been through! My renewal date came and went so I'm here no matter what now. Hi Andy, i was so mad at webshots i was ready to leave,but now i don't know. I have until next August to make up my mind. It is starting to get better but it's still a long way from good i think. I wish that peoples pictures where bigger when they leave a message, you can hardly see who it is.I'm used to webshots and i hate to leave but i'm still thinking about it. I wonder what happened to old "Joe Photo"....I thought he did a fine job of webshots. I find the new webshots slow and I really don't have a lot of patience when it comes to websurfing but I do still enjoy the photos that everyone has posted.

Hi Andy, I still grieve for the old Webshots, and am resigned to what it has become. I've invested a lot of time and energy here, and haven't the heart to move elsewhere. A couple of years ago, there was a great exodus from Webshots (to other web sites)and that was one of the complaints then... but those of us who stayed found lots of new friends (the ones who left are never heard from now) so I am hoping that Webshots will straighten out now as it did then and still be a wonderful place to visit old friends and make new friends. Definitely not like it was! I am hoping w/s will take notice and improve on it's intimacy feature, perhaps even try to make it at least the same or better than it was before. I believe I will stay with them for awhile and hope for the best!
