You are the first guest who appreciates my photos... :-) But for me they are wonderful, you´re right. But my photos are none in relation to your wonderful photos, here of Monterey. We had an all too brief visit to Monterey several years ago (before I had a digital camera).   • Maria, Many thanks for your congratulatory message for my POTD of Mt. Rushmore at night. It was indeed an honor for me, especially since it was a photo of one of our National Memorials. I appreciate all the comments you left. I tried to reconstruct the album, but since I did not have file numbers on WS, I wasn't sure which pics I used for some. A bit of trivia: Over 90% of Mount Rushmore was carved by using dynamite. Dynamite blasts removed approximately 450,000 tons of rock from the mountain. Thanks, again. Hugs, Carol

  • This is a great album with just one drawback: you end up wanting to see more shots. At least it happend to me after watching this colecttion of half a dozen stunning pictures. I'd like you know I've uploaded a few new albums, so if you had the time I'd like you to swing by for a look. Your comments always carry a big stick, so to speak.   • Maria, I used a Canon D30 for that shot (http://travel.webshots.com/photo/2662332000047282204TqtHIk). When I saw your question I thought "that info should be up there on webshots" but I guess it isn't. It used to be, so I'll have to look at when it stopped showing up and see how I changed my process.
