Wow, these make my little roadside photo from Yellowstone look like nothing. Tell your daughter I said she fulfilled my dream for me as well. There's a protected area for Grizzlies near Choteau, MT also. I used to go hunting there (deer) with my husband 28 years ago when the general area was just a ranch- he was from Choteau. The country all around there is gorgeous, too. We took his ashes to Benchmark, MT in 2001. That country never changes. Laura

Hi Grizz! What a great album of the bears. I've never to Montana and would love to visit soon. I was never a nature type of a person, but I am more interested in nature. Especially, for photography and relaxation. I love the city but nature is just wonderful. Montana is definitely a great place for it. Thank you for sharing this album!

Hi Grizz. What a wonderful encounter you had with these grizzlies. Great set of pics, to remember your day by. I am so envious, as my own recent trip to Yellowstone was too short to include seeing these bears. I was just grateful to see buffaloes ambling alongside the open road and roaming freely in the park.
