  • Hi Galit, the first half of this album looks similar to mine but the second one with the open fruits is much different and I like it very much. Shana Tova, Yair.

  • Hi Galit! Beautiful presentation of the development of the Pomegranate fruit in this eye-catching and colourful album. I am still trying to image you laying on the footpath taking the fallen flowers! Love the way you have captured the transparency of....

  • (2..frustrating).. jelly-like seeds inside. So realistic on the screen. Wonderful images of the cut fruit, great shots! Interesting to learn that it is used for juice too. Lovely to hear from you again and I am pleased you liked my Banksias, at least....

  • (3)..they are a decent size flower to photograph. Thankyou too for visiting my new site (I am still learning the new ways of doing things, but it is a challenge and great to be free of these frustrations). But I am not completely "gone" from here....

  • (4).. but I will not be keeping two Premium sites here. It will take a Miracle to fix all these problems, and I will re-assess the situation when the second Sub is due. There is no Screensaver thing, but at least Guests can sign my g/b over there...

  • Hi Galit! I love the way you have captured all phases of the amazing pomegranate's growth, color, and beauty. Thanks for letting me know a couple of my gourd photos are in Editor's fall colors collection. I would not have known otherwise! Some of your pom photos should be in there too. God bless!

  • Dear Galit, This really is a one of you special albums I will really have to look out for pomegranates in the shops this year and try those delicious seeds again. Thank you so much for visiting my Grove Ferry album too as always your comments mean a lot to me. I see in your profile you are an oncology nurse so you understand more than most what good health means until you lose it, many many years ago I trained as a nurse too :o) A change in dose for me means I feel better for now but I've a feeling its just me coming back up from where my levels had dropped to I've to stay 6 weeks on this dose once more no matter how it makes me feel just so they can get an acurate blood test. I've a hunch it will send me high once more, It can all get very tiresome. Far more important though is that I am so sorry that dear sweet Yoav has not been well That would break my heart to see him hurting I really hope he is doing better now. Take care now and hope you have a good weekend. Love, Jill

  • What a beautiful album, Galit! I love pomegranates but have only seen them on a tree once, in California. I'm surprised at how showy the flowers are. Your pictures of the open fruit and spilled seeds are luscious. Thank you! Shalom and Shana Tova, SJ Abrams in Virginia, USA

  • Hallo Galit!

  • Hi Galit, Thank you for your nice comment and welcome back! By the way, the colour of the Punica flowers are quite natural, which is not so easy, with red colours

  • Shalom, Galit! Hope your New Year was Happy and filled with Family Love, my friend!! Your excellent portfolio of the pomegranate tree is wonderful, filled with superb images of it's floral beauty and the nourishing fruits of life!! I will need to find a market that sells this delectable fruit...sure it wouldn't be as good or fresh unless grown close by, but you have stired my curiosity (and appetite)!! Many thanks for sharing with us! GB, Ted (p.s.love the "S3" pics you have in here...great details & color)

  • Hi Galit, thanks for visiting my new album of Blue Boxes. I hope that you won't have too high expectations since there are only 22 boxes there. I expected there to be much more. Take care, Yair.

  • Dear Galit, please, forgive me my delay in visiting you, but I'm so very busy and exhausted these last days... My theatre vacation finished and now, with two photography sites, things are a little difficult... I loved your pomegranates album! It's sooooo beautiful!!! Wonderful shots of these magnificent fruits and flowers. Ravishing! Autumn is here now. I cannot say I'm happy, because it always depresses me a bit. Days get shorter, sun is not so assiduous, and I need sun a lot, I'm a Lion native:) These last days we had a lot of rain and wind and today the sun is not showing too... Thanks God I'll go this next week for Mexico during 2 weeks. I'm needing it sooooo much! Really tired... I'll leave in 25 or 27... Just waiting for confirmation. You had asked me about the name of the flowers in the meadow of my Spring album... Beyond being late with the answer, I really don't know the name... I love all country wild flowers but I don't know the names of most of them. It's difficult to find them. I already tried... I hope your Holidays have been great and beautiful. Have you already lost the extra kilogram?:) Yes, Webshots is improving a bit but there are still many things I don't like. It's much more difficult and slow now to see our friends and fans. We don't have that page with all guestbook entries and that's bad, since we don't get mails for entries in guestbooks from free members. A lot of things between titles and description in photos what makes us completely lose concentration in albums, it breaks the magic... So many things yet... I don't think they experiment their own system... If they did, they would see all these things... Not to tell that I'm sick and tired of that "say cheese" thing... We are paying and we have adds all over the site... Oh well... let's hope it gets better... I'm going my dear friend. I wish you a wonderful weekend. Big hug, Rosa

  • Hi Galit, thanks for visiting my new album of Sand Sculptures. I intended to release this album 2 months ago but then they launched the beta site. I released then a one picture album with a link to Fotki. I decided that it's a waste to keep this album private for 2 months instead of sharing it with my friends that are still in Webshots. I have all my albums in Fotki as well. You probably saw the thumbnails of the newest 8 albums. You're always welcome to visit me in http://ykarelic4.fotki.com to see them all. You're also invited to take a look at this page: http://contests.fotki.com/contests/78/ . Take care, Yair.

  • Thanks Galit :o) The skies were good that day, but I have to admit that some underexposures and a bit of saturation always help to improve the results ;o) Happy that you enjoyed my album... sorry for the delay answering, but I've just moved house and still no broadband! :o) Ciao! Roberto

  • This is a most enjoyable album. Your photos in sequence have given a wonderful lesson on pomegranates. Your close-ups are so great - especially of the seeds. Aren't they a beautiful color? They remind me of a delicious dessert. I hope this album is featured on WS - it certainly should be. Best regards, DeeAnne :)

  • Hello Galit, only just getting round to visit this album as I was away half of sept & half oct. Life has been busy since I got back. Love this pomegranite album, colours are very warm & inviting. When I was young & pomegranites first appeared back in the shops of UK I used to think how exotic & delicious they were. They must come from magical places that I could never imagine, tales of Arabian nights etc!LOL thanks for reminding me. Eric
