HI Kaethi and Henri Your album is wonderful as usual! So much talent and imagination, I love what you do! Thank you so much for the kind words about my "album" I look back on it and think maybe I should not have put it up for public view? I'm not really sure but I've not noticed anyone else that has made an album like that and what worried me a bit was I didn't know if I was "suppose to make one" does that make sense? I am a long way off from working out how to use my digital camera and get the pictures on to the computer :) although I really do want to learn how. There is something fairly serious stopping me and I don't feel comfortable going into it where anyone can read it, although it really isn't a secret or anything especially here in my community/family.

Hi Kaethi and Henri, I'm always fascinated by the birds in distant places. In this case I am amazed that with a whole ocean between us, we should have such similar birds. Probably only an expert can distinguish between your Cormorants and Egrets and ours. Greetings from Florida, Paul. Thank you for your kind words on my Miami Zoo album. MetroZoo is a very spacious zoo and the animals, especially the large mammals, seem to be right at home. Unfortunately spacious zoos means great distances and this is becoming more difficult on my aging legs, especially carrying photo equipment in the Florida heat. No, I did not harm the elephant at all. I had left my elephant gun at home (LOL). It was a hot day, she had had a mud bath and she was still fanning her ears attempting to keep cool. I tried to catch her with both her ears fully open, but this is the best I could do.

Hallo Heinz und Käthi, dies ist wirklich ein sehr schönes Album. Die Bilder sind alle richtig wunderschön. Von allen Bilder haben vor allem Nr. 1, 8, 13 und 16 mir sehr gut gefallen. Danke vielmals für die Eintragung im GB vom Tropfen album. Es ist auch ein favorites Album von mir. Uns geht es gut, nur unsere Basil hat ein schlimmes Abszess am Backen, wir haben grossen Angst dass wir demnächst eine Entscheidung treffen müssen. Wir haben schon fast alles versucht, aber nichts hilft. Es fällt uns sehr schwer. Wie geht es eure Hühner? Herzlich, Els

Hallo Heinz und Kaethi, wie schoen ihr seid wieder daheim. Offensichtlich habt ihr einen schoenen Urlaub verbracht! Die neuen Alben zeigen das sehr deutlich! In diesem Album, in dem alles kreucht und fleucht habe ich gleich die Heide entdeckt. Meine Heimatstadt liegt mitten in der Lueneburger Heide. In den letzten 30 Jahren habe ich Heide nur auf Bildern gesehen! Danke schoen fuer die vielen netten Nachrichten in meinen Gaestebuechern. Eure Nachrichten sind immer etwas ganz besonderes. :) Wir haben gerade wieder einmal unsere hohen Feiertage hinter uns gebracht. Bonsoir cher Heinz et Kaethi. Si nous comptions la faune qui vit dans les bords de la mer, sûrement notre liste serait très longue. Nos yeux et dans notre dimension presque toujours voient les mêmes choses, mais dans petit ce qui est et dans ce qui est occulte on trouve infinité de petites créatures qui montrent une richesse incroyable par la force de la mer en rendre propice la vie. J'ai toujours aimé la mer parce qu'il est celui qu'il est moins laissé manier par la dégradation de l'homme, même s'il contamine sans le cesser et la récoltez avec sa pêche abusive. Cet album est un échantillon de l'effort de la mer pour loger la vie. Un ebrassade. Jesús

Hi Kaethi and Henri, This is a very nice album. I particularly like your pictures of the snail and that of the butterfly/moth (I'm not sure). I thank your for your extremely generous words about my Large Cats album. The truth of it all is that I have some good lenses that get me close, I try to keep the eyes and whiskers in sharp focus and let the natural beauty of these majestic animals flow through. When I succeed, everyone can see the pictures, but when I fail, only I get to see them. My thanks and very best wishes to you both, Paul.

Quel album rafraichissant! Dire que quand nous étions petits nous voyions toutes ces "petites" choses - mais à l'époque sans appareil photo - puis devenus grands nous avions tendance à passer à côté de tous ces sujets d'émerveillement pour l'esprit curieux et ouvert. Wonderful album as always and I am sure you had a lovely relaxing holiday on the coast and watching the activities of the birdlife, etc. Great to see so many birds and I like the spotted juveniles. Your Cormorants look very much like our Darter (Anhinga) as they dry their wings. Great underwater pics of the molluscs and the shells, also coloured seaweeds.
