This is so nice. Especially to me, a South African, to whom autumn simply means a relief from the sulphurous humidity of our southern summers in the tropics. I love the way you Americans mark the changing seasons with your colourful rituals and rites of passage - I so wish we did that here. Nice, too, that Americans - even those in the big cities - stay in touch with the traditions of the country folk (farmers) who feed the nation. For some years, we lost all that here, but now there are a growing number of farmers' markets that put townsfolk and country folk back in touch with one another. Let's hope it continues. Paul, thanks, but I have no secrets :o) Just a very good camera, patience, will to experiment with different settings, and a big memory card to take hundreds (literally) of shots :o) On these Moscow night shots there is another secret... they are actually evening shots :o) Best night shots are normally taken during late evening when there is still some light in the sky. Anyway, if you have specific questions, just ask. Oh, and of course I use Photoshop afterwards... Your macros are quite good :o) Ciao! Roberto

Hello Paul, this is a very pretty album. Pumpkins always make funny pictures. Each year I grow a few myself in my vegetable garden, and I really mean a few. But they didn’t grow that big as in the pictures of yours. My absolutely favorite picture of this album is nr. 12 (Fall Colours at Decew Falls).
