Oh Marita! What a great album filled with stunning shots - worthy of downloading for a miriad of reasons. I've only been to Oregon once and thought it wa a beautiful place. If I'm ever lucky enough to go there again, I want to see this senic state park while I'm in the state! TY for sharing these (and all your other) photos! Big hug for Munchkin! Take care and all my best wishes from your "misplaced Texan friend" ~~~ Jodi (Still wondering how a die hard Texan such as I could have ended up here!)

Hi Marita! Your album is GORGEOUS! The photos are so well composed and it's your photographic talent that has created this masterpiece album. It looks like you're enjoying a new camera, but it wouldn't matter what type of camera you had--you would take fantastic photos no matter what! Hope you are doing well down Texas way! Big hugs, Sharon

Hi Marita. This is a wonderful album. Fabulous scenery and you captured the beauty of it to perfection. I am discovering, via Webshots, just how beautiful the State of Oregon is. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to visit one day. You never know... Thanks for your very generous comments about my Tetons' album. I look at my photos now and it's hard to believe that I was actually there. Thanks for stopping by. I am always happy to hear from you. Take care and enjoy the weekend. Hugs, Jayne xx

Your new camera did a great job but I know that the person using it has the most impact on the results. Peter would be choofed with the dedication, as he should be. Thanks mate! Hallo Marita!

Ciao Marita, I just could paraphrase many of the good things said in the various comments. Absolutely fantastic what you produced here. I agree with Ted, it's not only the camera, but your talent behind that produces these postcard perfect images. Admired # 1 with the fence in the foreground as a baseline and the gorgeous landscape in the background ..... loved images with smooth reflections of the rocks such as # 6..... how you applyied branches as a contrasting upper frame to rende field in depths in # 15 and 5 ..... or a stunning clear, dark-blue sky as a ceiling in # 8 ... enjoyed the various possible ways to view a river bent with a dramatic rocky background as in #s 3, 4, 11,19, 35, 39, 40 .... and finally one of my favorite, the combination of soft reed and flourishing herbs contrasting the monumental Smith Rock. Well done my Dear, excellent work, Konrad

"yeeeeahawwww"! I am back, sorry it was a flying visit before, but her indoors was after my blood, just managed to pacify her so it was either your album or her ladyship, she won!!!!!!!. Well it was worth waiting for, just the sort of place I could live, far from the maddening crowd so to speak. But I would have to have a crash course on how to ride a horse, in my part of the world it is usually shanks pony that I have to get around on. Still if a Texican German can so could I. Suppose I had better say something good about the album, "ITS GOOD" Now that is out of the way, I can ask if your back is better, I do hope so. do take care and Kind regards Swampy Ken the Fen PS. i DID SO ENJOY THE ALBUM AS WELL UP TO YOUR STANDARD.

A truly magnificent album, my dear cowgirl! Wonderful and powerful landscape, great colors and composition! Well done, my friend! I hope you had a beautiful time, I bet you had, evaluating for these gorgeous images! My vacation were fine too. I only had a "little" problem: my new camera broke after the first week. So, in the second week, I had to manage with my old Enigma (and Thanks God I took it with me too!). This means, in the second week, no macro mode nor zoom. But, even so, I still got some nice shots:) And it was a beautiful, relaxing time. Perhaps not exactly what I had dream about Mexico, because I was almost only in the Maya Riviera, so, I didn't get a general idea about the country, but it would be impossible in 2 weeks, anyway, and I was needing sun and warm water so much! So, I guess I did a good choice. Some adventure too, of course:) Huge hugs, my dear cowgirl, have a sunny bright weekend! Your friend, Rosa

Hello Marita, time flies away too quickly. I looked at this smashing album long ago, but I am far behind in answering my mail. You bought an incredible camera. When you get used to it you will love it. For a nice zoom you will always need additional parts. My camera has a x12 optical zoom - and I want more! (The Sony's H5 has a zoom x12 too, and I had in my mind for a long time). What so ever, you have a fine camera your pictures are wonderful. I had fun to see you took every meter a new shot of the wonderful scenery. It made me laugh to see Mike tired after 2 hrs hike - I assume in that 2 hours you took a thousand pictures! I would have. There are always some people waiting for me, when I just want a very last picture . . . .! Your personal relativity theory is so right! I miss a lot of fun, you are right! Have a wonderful day - Galit :)

Hi Marita, I'm getting jolly enthousiastic about this album, partner. The scenes are magnificent, rarely I've seen such beauty of the nature. My horse could run here up and down and have a great time, while I climb a couple of rocks, crying out yéééééééhaaaawwwwwwwww and play a tune on my old guitar. Life ain't bad, ain't it. By the way, thanks for your encouraging words on my featured album. Take care, Tjebbe

Marita, Shalom, What an album this is. Thanks for bringing us along. I've kept away from sending you messages cause I didn't want to detract from your recovery but I see you've been at the computer. We hope you are almost, if not totally, healed. If not, from our work in an alternative healing community we have a number of photos with embedded properties used for meditation/visualization which are color coded for specific or general use. We use them for wallpaper and screensaver photos and many of them are already within WS albums. If you pinpoint the physical problem I will gladly send you appropriate links. I can imagine what taking it slow and easy must be like for you. With Light from Tsfat. A

Liebe Marita! Leb wohl! Suresh

The most serious rock climbing I ever did was here at Smith Rocks back in the 70's. Scuttling up a chimney sticks out in my mind as well as some rapelling. I also discovered the magic of dried cow pies as a fuel for cooking! Really made me appreciate the buffalo chips of them mountain men of yore. Thanks for bringing back a flood of memories from my wasted youth.

Beautiful album, Marita! Thanks for viewing my Tornado album and leaving your lovely comment! The tornado hit north of town, I live south of town... only a big oak limb fell from a tree in my yard... I thank God for His protection! Love has been real sick... vet says she has Feline Hyperesthesia (there is no cure)... I decided if God didn't heal her, then I would have her put to sleep instead of her suffering continuously, which just the thought of losing her was breaking my heart. But she is better and doing okay, and I really thank God for that! Have a wonderful day, Sweetie! Love & hugs, June
