Hallo Kaethi & Heinz, dieses Album war fuer mich gestern ein wunderbarer Auftakt fuer einen langen Arbeitstag. Ich bin gerade dabei (seit Wochen) ein paar Tropfen fuer ein Wasser Album zusammenzusuchen, doch alles was ich gefunden habe ist blass neben diesem Album voll mit Schaetzen aus glitzernen Tropfen. Ich stelle mir nur vor, einen Morgens ins Freie zu gehen und alles mit diesen gleissenden und doch so vergaenglichen Diamanten uebersaet zu sehen! Eine wahre Pracht! :-) Danke schoen fuer die netten Bemerkungen in meinem August Album! Die Disteln bezaubern mich immer wieder aufs neue. Diese Distel die wie ein Stern aussieht heisst uebrigens 'Holy Thistle' das habe ich voe ein paar Tagen in einem Buch gefunden. Gerade jetzt sind diese Disteln 2-4 Blaetter gross! Hier faengt jetzt alles an zu gruenen und dann zu bluehen. Viele liebe Grusse fuer euch von Galit

Hi Kaethi and Henri, thanks for visiting my album featuring the Feijoa tree. The Fruit has a special taste, I find it most similar to the Kiwi fruit but others say it's a combination of guava and pineapple and that's how it's got the name. The fruits on my tree are smaller than in the markets since we let it grow as is. The size of the fruit in the markets is larger than a ping-pong ball, ours is a little smaller that the ball. Ours are round like a ball, those that grow in New Zealand has a slightly different share, not so round. I do not know if it's expensive since I never bought them but I recall one of my friends from Portugal told me they are expensive there, probably because they are imported. Best wishes, Yair.

Hallo ihr Beiden! Herzlichen Glueckwunsch zur gestrigen Auszeichnung dieses fantastischen Albums! Es ist wirklich aussergewoehnlich schoen! So ganz nach meinem Geschmack! Ich nehme an ihr seid gestern mit all den Mails und all den wohlverdienten Komplimenten sehr beschaeftigt gewesen! :-) * Vielen Dank auch fuer die lieben Bemerkungen in meinen letzten Alben. Oh ja, der Spaziergang in den Duenen ist im Sommer genau wie ein Wuestenspaziergang. Jetzt sind diese Duenen mit einem gruenem Teppich bedeckt, der langsam immer dichter wird. Und die 'Prickly Pear Kakteen' . . . wie gerne wuerde ich euch welche rueberschicken, doch dafuer sind sie wohl zu empfindlich. Ich habe neulich welche im Supermarkt gesehen, doch die hatten noch nicht einmal Stacheln und auch keine Widerhaken, die Farbe war ein bleiches Gruen und ueberhaupt sahen sie recht schlank und mickerig aus. Ich nehme an die rote Farbe bringt den Zucker und deshalb fehlte diesen Treibhaus Sabres sicher auch der Geschmack. Waehrend der Saison werden die Sabres am Strassenrand von den arabischen Kindern, also den arabischen Sabres gepflueckt und ganz frisch am Strassenrand verkauft. Die Kinder tragen dicke Lederhandschuhe und oeffnen die Fruechte, so dass man sie gleich essen kann. Ich muss einmal diese Kinder fotografieren!! Ich hoffe es gehr euch beiden gut! Ein ganz liebes Halloooooooooo, Ihr beiden, habe die Malverschnaufpause dazu benuetzt, mich mit Eurem wunderbaren Album in Stimmung zu bringen. Was mit diesen Superphotos bestens geglueckt ist.Ihr habt tolle Aufnahmen gemacht. Traeume bereits vom naechsten Fruehling. Muss jedoch gestehen, dass mir die Nebelschwaden, wenn's nicht zu lange andauert auch gefallen. Gestern war solch ein Tag. Ich kam mir, natuerlich schoen im warmen trockenen Haus sitzend wie in Watte gepackt vor. Jean, der arme im Auto fahrende konnte bestimmt daran keinen grossen Gefallen finden. I spent only a few days in Slovenia and I enjoyed that visit very much. The country is very beautiful and I'm sure you had a wonderful time researching and traveling there. I hope to have another visit there in the future. Regarding our children stories - many of them are the same as in Europe by the Grimm brothers, H. C. Andersen and other writers. Another source is East European writers. But the Story Gardens are based on Israeli stories written by Israeli writers (I think there might be one exception). That's why it was impossible to find the English version in the Internet (except for 2 or 3 of them). It was even problematic to find the correct translation of the title... since there's not an English version of the books, various people used various translations. For example: Flat To Let was in some places called Room To Rent which is close but not follow the original. I decided to share these sculptures since they can attract the eye of those who are not familiar with the stories as well. I'm aware it's not the same as being familiar with the stories...
