Hi Susie, Sorry I am late but I have wandered through the album and thoroughly enjoyed it. Waterlilies are one of my favourite flowers. Captured them really well and now I have one as a screensaver Kaye

Hi Susie, Just love all the flowers in the last 3 weeks they are all fantastic in their own way. It is so hard to grow flowers here as it is so wet at the moment( it is supposed to be our dry season but we have flooding) so I enjoy those taken by my friends.

Susie, thank you so very much for your congrats on my POTD, such a suprise, so nice for something good to happen for a change. I do try to catch up with ALL photos eventually. I am mot being rude when I do not visit, but I loose internet speed for 1 or 2 weeks a month (it is about to reduce again now ggrrr) which makes looking at webshots impossible at dial up speed. I am so very busy at work, and with the work I do from home as well as looking after a family and a husband who is not so well. He is having yet another operation, this time on his spine at the end of next week. I feel like a taxi driver for my mum and my children some times. Taking my 3 shots a week makes sure I get out of the house if only for a litte while. I read a few comments above here that you have been in hospital too. I hate not being able to get on to yahoo I feel out of touch. How have you been? How are you now? Take care .. hugs Susan

Hello Susie - wow - you are a wonderful example of a "chin-up" attitude when it comes to life's trials - Speaking as a retired nurse your complaint is a real pain, and I admire the way you have reached out and did something as nice as put some very pretty photos on the internet for all of us to enjoy - I wish you a speedy recovery - and lots of joy - hugs Connie

My dear friend Susie. In fact I usuely wait for Sundays to answer all the list of three photos a week. But when I Find out you are at the hospital, I told my self that I will go to mky afternoon Shabat ( Suterday) short sleep later....First I want to thank you for your more than nice comment at my Three photos a week album. And than I want your explanations of your illness, as I have no idea of what do you suffer. Is it bad? Can you go out of it with no traces?" I will pray for your health to our common GOD. And I want to tell you that Oklahoma is for me a big mystery, never been there.... All my knowledge from your place is from movies as 7 sisters for seven brothers and the song Oklahoma Oklahoma ..... So on your free time, will you let me know more on your place? Greetings from Israel , and do come back to us in good healthy soon. Hugs. RAN YAARI

Hi Susie! Thanks for your messages. I'm so glad to be back home. We saw so many beautiful things, but we drove out there and it is getting very hard to check in and out of so many motels, plus figure out what we want to see (3,620 miles total trip). We've decided that going to one location and staying for a longer period of time would be better. LOL We drove through Oklahoma City twice, but never saw the big city. Took the turnpike on the north side and west side of town and stopped at Yukon the first night away from home! I love that new turnpike there! How long has it been there? On our way to AZ, it rained on us all the way from Tulsa to OK City in the exact same spots. But we were happy to see trees and green grass when we were coming back through there. AZ was so dry! Enjoy the weekend! Hugs, Sharon

A week has gone by and still under snow here, even more than last week, since it's snowed for 2 days again! About the Blue Heron photo, you mentioned you didn't think it stayed where it is cold, well, it doesn't. They are migrating back now from the warmer climes south for the winter. They are looking for their nesting grounds (under the snow so far) poor things. I love your set this week, of the cute little frog, from going from happy on the lily pad to sinking,,,,very lovely photos. I love nature shots. Take care till next time ~Vickie~

Hi Susie, I hope you don't get any more storms like that one. I hate when we lose power - which happens quite a bit out here in the country. At first I thought your frog was pretty big and then realized that in comparison to the lily pad he was quite a little guy. I enjoyed your photos again this week. Hope you have a great time with next week's photo opportunities. Best regards from Western Michigan, DeeAnne

Love your entries this week, reminding me of the crabapple tree my mother bought for us when we moved into our first purchased home. Don't know if the tree survived to this day, we left the home about 10 yrs after we bought it and we hoped the new family enjoyed it like we did...

Hi Susie. Thanks for commenting on my three submissions. I have really enjoyed looking at yours and marvelling at the way different lighting can give a totally changed look to flowers and, no doubt, other things as well.

Hi Susan, Thank you for the identification and history of that plant I put in my album this week. It was a great help. Beautiful shots of the Geese this week. Wonderful additions to your album. We are starting to see flocks of Geese flying North now. Though we have had more than a foot of snow falling in the past day it's still very much like Spring out there. I hope you enjoy your search for next weeks photos. Take care, Ray

Hi Susie, I saw your 3 photos this week already but got sidetracked and didn't leave you a note here. Do you ever get together with Sharon & Bob at the botanical gardens? It is such an amazing place to visit, wander, & photograph. I wish we had sometning of that caliber here in Upstate New York. Beautiful photos. I feel that I'm getting to know the gardens real well because of all of your albums. I never get tired of browsing through them. Wonderful challenge photos. Happy hunting for next weeks contributions. I'll stop back and catch up on the rest of your photos soon. Take care, Ray

Hi Susie! I love your Cardinals from Friday! Thanks for your prayers and concern for us during the ice storm. I was concerned about what was happening in Oklahoma also. We didn't have power and I shivered so much before having to drive to Louisville. I was happy to get in the warm car and drive for 6 hours. :-)) Our granddaughter is doing better, but still in a lot of pain. Thanks for your prayers on her behalf. I think after about 6 weeks she will be more like her old self again. She is healing well. More later! Hugs, Sharon

Good morning, Susie. Regarding my picture of Chloe looking out the door, you and Bonnie are right of course. Very observant of you to find me in the reflection. One must be very careful taking reflection pictures! I once saw a good (bad) example of this: A man took a picture of a shiny stainless steal teapot to put on eBay. His image was small--but very clear. He was totally nude!

Winter is tough for colors, but Im fortunant that I live in the mountains, and its still there....just have to change my focus and look a little harder. I haven't been able to go hiking in some time, so Im taking photos around my area. The subjects aren't the greatest, but the colors are nice. Helps to get thru the long winter! The kids left Wednesday from the Christmas holidays, half of us had bad colds (sniff, sniff) and I wanted out of the house! :-) It was good exercise, therapy and an opportunity to take pictures when it warmed up to about 61 degrees yesterday and we walked around the St. Louis Zoo. An association that every time prepares an ancient theme on the art and on all that interesting in the sector. Then under to the Christmas they prepare this type of presepio.Beautiful also to feel the creative principals of certain prepared works with so much grace and harmony.Real history doesn't exist only what I have told.It waits and among a little you will see that arrives. Hi Susie, doesn't know from brooding to begin, gulp.We see a moment, then everything thanks for the comments that you have sent me, this is priority. There are no problems on my behalf for what you ask me and that you want to do, you also do, rather ago a lot of pleasure, thanks. What you want to know on the operation of that that calls wagon, is a harvester. It needs to return back at least of 50/60 years to see the operation. To that times it was a true party, the farmers cut and brought in the farmhouse the maize,a circle was formed and in mean it began to detach the ears.Ended this job, it called this type of wagon (harvester) and it began ilm job of sgranatura of the ear.The job that was done, it was that to divide the wheats from the ear, from the rest.On one side it went out the disconnected wheats, and from the other the rest of the ear.The beautiful one of this machinery, was what had to have the motion through a pulley to effect the workmanship. If you observe the photo you can see these details. If you observe the photo you can see these details, the all started with a tractor of the epoch, otherwise lacking this, you/he/she had moved from a car to vapor, that gave through always the movement a pulley. There am photo of this type in the album, not to confuse with the locomotives of the time. For this you must see the particular ones some wheels all in iron the difference for the locomotives that don't have the smooth wheels.Practically they have a form to elle, to be able to be on the platforms.Well I think that the explanation is enough. With this I thank you to the prssima. Ops Giancarlo-Italy.
