Your photographs are so beautiful, whimsical and just plain great. I have you on my favorites. Thanks for bringing such beauty into the lives of others. Also, I show them as a slide show to my 4 year olds in school. It really helps the students to come up with their own creative expressions when they can get visual prompts from your great work. Thanks. Schoolmarm 50

I have spent most of the last 2 weeks with not enough time to sleep some days. My mum is home from hospital now and I hope taking it easy too. Brian is coping most of the time but frustrated with the pain and not being able to do things. Time is precious.

Hi Sharon, I just viewed this album via slideshow and I marvel at the quality of each and every photo. Such an enjoyable show. Thanks for inquiring about my absence in the 3 photos challenge - my husband needs my attention right now so I am taking a hopefully short leave from the challenge. - Best regards from Western Michigan, DeeAnne

Hi Sharon, thank you for sharing your three this week. Beautiful Butterfly and Joker in the pack. The Nuclear Power Plants are in the Submarines that are based here in Devonport. There isn't just one power plant, but many. The crane is used to lift the spent core out and replace it with a new one. These shots were taken from my bedroom window using a 200mm Zoom Lense, so it's not too close, about a half mile as the crow flies. Yes we can sometimes hear the noise of the ships, and their broadcasts onboard. But I was in the Navy Myself, so it's doesn't bother me too much. Sometimes I wake up thinking I'm back in the Navy though!

Dearest Sharon, To say I'm sad at your leaving the group is a misnomer, also I do understand the time involved. I was so excited when you joined us, as you have always been a favorite member for me, and will remain so. I think our little group got out of hand, after about 3-4 months, and I personally don't see how it can continue, only time will tell. I am writing this from my hospital bed, is that dedication or what? lol I hope to be out of here by Monday, as we are planning to go to Missouri later this month to see the home Steve bought there in Farmington. I loved your 3 this week with the bright orange Canna, Snowy Egret, and the windmill with the Clematis vine growing in your own backyard made an awesome scene. I decided to cut back on commenting and just do the one in the guest book to cover the 3 photos, maybe that will save sometime. If the Doctor allows me to continue using my laptop. Greetings and hugs from, OKLAHOMA. Susie

I'm drooling over the gorgeous Butterfly House. The one I visit has only a very few Butterflies at any time -- on the most recent visit they had more but all the same kind :-( -- very disappointing for a 90 mile drive. Charley

Dear Sharon. I totaly agree with Yair that his note from 3 weeks ago, I found in your comment list. I fill latly very sad with my participation in this 3 shots a week group. I wonder if or when I will declar my leaving the group. This week I was passive , and I had only answered comments at my albums without visiting others albums. The result this week was that I had only 20 visitors instead 40 visitors last week same time, and we have more than 50 members.... My big wonder is : did our forom became a place for consolations and small talk ? or a place of changing ideas on photographing and photo taking. As a leader in the most intersting members in webshots, your opinion is importent to me, befor leaving this place for good. Greetings from Israel - RAN

Sharon, do you share my feeling that the longer the list of members we have, the less visits we have? In the last few weeks I feel that I spend more and more time on this group and it becomes less and less rewarding. It would be nice to hear about your perspective. Have a great week, Yair.

Hi Sharon, anciently the glass door had only them the noble. The glasses were not made as today, and they offered varied (defects) of reflex.Type in the reflex that you have seen in that window, every square of the window introduces a different reflex, the motive for his construction that was everything blown glass and therefore impossible to be equal. Sharon, I cannot "see" your missing albums in your albums page but everyone can access it with the link in the Master List of the group: http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/album/556137343prcSEh I guess that your other missing albums should be among the most viewed in their categories. therefore, if you go to the appropriate categories and look at the Most Viewed or Most Downloaded, I guess that you'll be able to see the thumbnails and access the albums. I contacted customer support but since it was in the weekend, they did not reply yet. They were not helpful in Roberto's case - they replied that everything is OK... but the albums in both cases were back.
said ykarelic4
Sharon, your albums are there, even that you cannot see them. It happened to Roberto and me, now it's your turn... but for both of us, the albums were back after few hours.

Hi Sharon, I have checked your album about 5 times today looking for an update. I finally just opened it and saw the photos were new, the zoo one fooled me. For some reason it still shows the last update on this album to be Thu, Mar 1, 2007. Now I better go back and check Rob's and David's. They too may have new ones and WS has the wrong date. Hi Sharon, thanks for your words, compliments also to you.Hi to all of you, a moment please, these three photos of the week, are very meaningful.I see that nobody has still gone to read the dedication that I have written in the messages. These three photos are devoted to my mother, the trips, the parties, the evening, they have a precise meaning of reflection on the life.Perhaps the dedication is anadat in the last messages, you try to read her/it. Thanks for the polite attention. Giancarlo-Italy

Hi Sharon, thanks everything for what you say.I didn't know that you were lover of the hydrangeas, however their color is given by the type of ground in which you/they are found, this depends on its composition and therefore the colors of the flower. If you want it waits and patience, makes then you a harvest. Ops best regards. Giancarlo_Italy.

Sharon, I like your new additions of Chihuly's glass art. Thanks for visiting my album of Anemones and Daffodils. Usually we have to wait till end of February for the first spring flowers but these are early and start blooming during winter time. Wishing you a wonderful weekend, Yair.

Hello Sharon, I was just about to go away again when you created this album (great idea) & that is reason I have not been round before, this is my first chance to view. Great shots so far & now looking forward to the delights you will show us in the year to come. Enjoyed the butterflies, you live in such a great place to be able to pop out & see these wonders. Can I invite you to see my latest travel album to a plce colder than midwest USA in winter! LOL. It was a very special visit for me. Hope your year ahead is a good one for you & your family. Eric

Hi Sharon, Beautiful additions to your collection. It WAS wonderful having the grandkids & family around for the week. I trust you & Bob are thoroughly enjoying your family during the holidays as well. I have heard of Cabela's but have never been to one of their stores. Rochester, NY isn't big enough to merit one of these super stores of it's own so we have to travel to get there. It was great fun and I enjoyed wandering around with my grandson. I'm strickly a shooter with a camera but I do like to fish a bit. I'd rather be in a store that features canoeing, kayaking, camping and hiking gear. I hope you and Bob enjoy the New Year as well. Cheers, Ray & Lynne

Hi Sharon. Great new shots today! I am glad about you have your hole family at your home for a week. So is happy holiday in all parts of the world. I invited all family to be on Christmas this year to us. I prepaired turkey, dumplings and pot-roasted red cabbage, it was tasty. For you again a Happy 2007 with much time for family and to take fotos!

Hi Sharon, I should thank you and everyone else in participating in this fun challenge. This challenge has made my Friday mornings at the office more enjoyable while viewing all the albums. Many coffee breaks and lunch break are spent surfing the albums. This week was a challenge for me as well to get in my 3 pics. Oh, and I cheated with my macros...I use a tripod for a steady shot. It is very warm here, 35 degrees. Most of the snow has melted, the ice on our lakes is not looking good for walking on. Driving out and setting up our fishing shacks on our metro lakes is out of the question. Rain in our forcast, so strange this winter. Wishing you a great new year. Rob from MN

Hi Sharon, nice album. I haven't made it to the Botanical Gardens this year. I've taken few pictures other than my grandkids this year. I did get out our first snow. I went to Baue Funeral Home in St. Peters and took pictures of the Swans. Had a wonderful time. I uploaded them last night. Have a Merry Christmas. Sandy in St. Peters, MO

Anyway, try some biscotti's, simple and easy recipes. Next I'll bake almond and cardamom biscottis AND cardamom bread this weekend. For Christmas, Mrs. Claus got me a Kitchenaide stand mixer early! (OK, it is for both of us) ;) Have a Merry Christmas, and have fun babysitting! Take care, Rob
