Last update I got is that Al is on his way to recovery. He doesn't need surgery right now, but might sometime in the future. Al may be going home very soon. A wonderful Christmas gift to us all isn't it? Lauura :0)

Hi Darlene, Thanks so much for the notes this a.m. We are on day 4 of the 2nd round of chemo. It's been better than in Jan., but still not easy. I dropped you an e-mail about a month ago, but haven't heard back...I hope you got it! I'm back at work & trying to keep up w/ everything here, so I'm pretty bad at correspondence!
