Hi Stan! I had to come back and look at this album again. I love it. But while I'm here,,,since you have lived in Oklahoma, I thought you might enjoy watching a live camera on an Eagles nest on Sooner Lake, just north of Stillwater. http://www.suttoncenter.org/eaglecam.html There is three eggs, and there is two camera's set up, and over the nest. Hi Stan. These photo's in this Album are fabulous. I have been close to Yosemite, but didn't have a chance to explore. Looks like I must go back again, but in the winter, huh? I started out picking my favorite photo's, but found they were ALL my fav's. Such fabulous photo's. This is a place a photographer could totally lose their head. Thank god for Digital camera's. Hi Stan. Thank you so much for your visit and comments on my Oklahoma State Capital Album. I'm not sure what I need to do to draw attention to my albums. I have invited several WS Members and left the link. When I first joined WS I didn't realize what all it consisted of. I thought it was a only a site to store my photo's. Never thought of myself as a photographer, just a picture taker. I've learned a lot the last couple of years. Since you lived in Lawton, you probably know about Turner Falls State Park, at Davis, on I35 E. of Lawton, which is where I took the photo's in my Turner Falls Albums. Wonderful album. Congratulations on some magnificent captures. I've never managed to get into the valley when there's been snow as I've always been at the Mammoth/Mono Lake side of the park. YOU FEATURED EL CAPITAIN BUT HALF DOME LOOKS GORGEOUS IN WINTER TO. HALF DOME IS MY FAVOURITE ROCK AT YOSIMITE. CAMPED THERE FOR THREE DAYS WITH A FRIEND OF MINE. WE KEPT HAVING TO WALK DOWN TO THE STORE AND HAD TO COME HOME EARLY DUE TO ATMOSPHERIC SUDDEN CHANGES THAT MADE BOTH OF US SICK. BUT WE WERE STIL HAPPY CAMPERS BEDAUSE WE AT LEAST GOT TO CAMP THERE. Stan and Marita, Today, I just wanted to visit these pictures again. There is something that keeps drawing me back to this album and the others. It is the peaceful beauty and the reality that there still are places where we can go find find fullfillment and that peace the almost surpasses all understanding where your heart wants to be. It is nice to see the water starting to flow at Yosemite Falls. As I indicated to you yesterday, it was very dry in September. With not much rainfall so far this season, I sure hope the falls does not dry up faster this next year. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas with friends and family and that you did not eat to much.
