Hi Sandra. Beautiful Rose. So right for this time of early Spring. Our Grounds Maint. Crew are off today, weekend ya know. Their cost effectiveness depends on the outcome of the rest of their pictures. Obviously they were not aware that the "Boss" was watching them closely equipped with Camera. Great photo choices of your birds to show us Sandra. I specially like the pelican with the three in the background, really sets it off. The cute little baby dusky is so fuzzy you can almost feel it and the white duck looks like he's playing peek-a-boo. Warm wishes ~Vickie~

Sorry it is taking me a while to catch up. A lot happening, no, too much happening in my world at the moment. Brian is in hospital today for surgery, it will be a slow recovery again. I hope to take a few hours off tomorrow to bring him home. Someone said life has its ups and downs but I seem to be having nothing but downs these last few years. Ho hum.. Hi Sandra! Three great images from your trip to the gold coast. The 1st one is mesmerizing with it's reflections. The 2nd looks like a great deal of fun, a fire breathing dragon. That would put you in the party mood. And lastly the one thing I think of as I think of Australia, is the great barrier reef. Which is what this coral and clown fish remind me of. Sandra, thanks for your congrats on my Rose POTD, nice for something good to happen at last. Thanks for your concern about Brian too. He is still in a lot of pain and now has a knee brace to stop him falling over all the time. The pain block didn't really help. He is having surgery on the nerve and spine at the end of next week and will be in hosp for 4 or 5 days. I loose internet speed for 1 or 2 weeks a month which makes looking at webshots impossible at dial up speed, 25 minutes per page is not funny. I am about to loose speed again and am so frustrated. Please do not think I am being rude if I do not get to view photos or answer messages. (It can take hours to upload my 3 a week if they do not time out). I try to make sure I take 3 photos a week a it makes me get out of the house and stop working.. take care hugs Susan

Sandra, thanks for your visit! I did not rejoin the group... actually I'm very happy with my decision. I have much more spare time to visit albums by my friends and I also have many more members visiting my albums compared to the previous weeks. That Peacock is gorgeous -- but their cries are horrendous !! The first time we heard their cry -- it was in the middle of the night when even the movement of a blade of grass could be heard -- when all of a sudden we were ALL jolted out of a sound sleep by what sounded like someone being scalped alive ;-( -- Wow !!
