Album Description:
The afternoon of December 31, 2006, was mild for winter and cloudy, with rain on the way. I had two new bird feeders and was ready with my camera for a crowd.

Hi, SJ... It must be very difficult to take birds' pictures, but your patience has its rewards. I love the fence with natural wood color instead of a white or a varnished one, because it adds a natural touch to your pictures. I'm very happy to be the first one signing the guestbook of this album... Greetings, Gabby... :)

Hello SJ thank you for inviting me to this album! Your pictures are very special. Someone once said to me, 'birds are everywhere, you just have to be patient - I think you are very patient to catch so many beautiful birds and get really close to them! Photographing birds is a dream of mine, but it seems I am not patient enough! :-) Thanks for looking at my 'Million' cats and all your nice words to my featured picture. :-) Galit

Hello to you from sunny, though rather chilly Sweden! I powered up the laptop while I had a free moment to check out the dailies and remembered I hadn't looked through this album. This will probably be the only opportunity I have for the next couple weeks to scan some of these wonderful images. These are delightfully clear, precise shots. The Chickadees are my favourite, though they are ALL excellent. Char
