If looks could kill...!!! I saw them in Algeria. And their size and running speed gets exaggerated. BUT - if you see one live - out running around - away from the glow of a campfire at night ... you soon comprehend how large and fast they 'seem' to be!!! The ones I saw ran very fast, a wild and crazy pattern, hunting for their food. They definitely 'look-like' they are running at 25 mph! But actually they are still managing 10 mph - which [is] fast!!! It is said some are larger than 6" across.
