Susan, thank you for your suggestions, I ran a disc check and defrag, also deleted some software that I really don't use that much anymore, but my photo editing software that I use for cropping & contrast adjustment is still running slow. I take so many photos, so just trying to go through & weed out the out of focus etc, is hard to accomplish. I am going to uninstall and reinstall it to see if that helps any. It is Microsofts 2006 Digital Image Anniversary edition and I have the CD. I am caught up with posting this week and will now be able to view everyones photos & comment on them. I love the thumbnails of all your shots, especially the pelicans, but then you & I both love our bird shots don't we. I'm glad to hear Brian is trekking along, your description of his noises sounds like my everyday routine with the arthritis aches & pains, but I'm sure his pain is much more severe. My thoughts & prayers are with him (I need to visit him too very soon) I still haven't caught up with friends outside of the group yet. Hi Poppy, I hope Brian is doing better. Just wanted to let you know that I have been spending time with my 12yr old Grandson and other family members during the past 3-4 weeks. I checked in but didn't comment as my time was limited. I have missed everyone & hope to get some photos posted this week. My computer has been working far too slowly and I think I need to take it in for a check up. Wish me luck as I seem to be in need of some.
