  • Hello Sharon - it seems a long time since I contacted you! Just had a look through your Missouri Botanical Gardens, and I'm so envious! Out here in Glenden, Qld., we do have colour - that which we carefully nurture in our own yards/greenhouses, etc., and the median strips, where the Xtrata Mining Co. are prob. responsible for the lovely splashes of various coloured bouganvillea. However, the real reason I looked you up is very serious. I got a comment from mypinklotus, so before I replied, I looked him up, and in his list of friends is hamad_bn_hassan, so I looked him up and was shocked by his new album - depicting graphic photos of blood, gore, and hate for Americans, and Pres. Bush. I really don't know how this album snuck into WS, but I will mark it as inappropriate. This is one potentially dangerous young man! My blood runs cold. Hope you don't mind my letting you know. Hugs, Margaret.

  • These are gorgeous. So many photographers' close-ups of flowers are slightly out of focus. But yours are perfect!

  • Hi Sharon and Bob...goegeous flowers and scenery here. I love the daylily and the new flowers you have added. Its hot here so seeing the splash pool made me think how great it is to be a kid. Great album. I am not sure if you knew that Bonnie was sick. She still is but is recovering now. Its been two weeks of sleepless nights, much worry, and doctors and doctor bills...but thank God she is getting better now. hugs and much love, Barbara

Well, I am sure glad I found it tonight...I enjoyed all of your photos in this album, Sharon...by the way...I discovered a few weeks back that Dallas has a huge Aboreum with a huge garden center...I have contacted them and cant wait to go and check it out...I'm sure I'll go crazy there. Do you think you and Bob will ever make it down to Texas....maybe we could meet there one day...the lady there said it would take a whole weekend to get through the gardens. Here is their website just in case you would like to check it out...I'm going up there in two weeks. and want to return sometime in the fall... http://www.dallasarboretum.org/Gardens.htm

  • Sharon, your photos are stunning. First of all, the title of this album brought me here first. I am on fast-forward to summer. Here in Manitoba we have beautiful hot summers, only too short, about 3 months long. What a vibrant display of color and beauty. I can't wait for my flower gardens. ~Vickie~

  • What a bright, colorful collection to encourage those of us still experiencing winter that the flowers will bloom and the world will warm up! I look forward to seeing many of these in my screensaver year-round. Thank you for visiting my most recent bird album -- the Tufted Titmice really are cute, and quick and bold like the chickadees! Best wishes, SJ Abrams

  • Sharon, I'm glad that you like my new album of the Dark-Purple Iris. We have 8 endemic irises in Israel. They all are wildflowers that we hope to see for many years. The dark-purple iris is the first one to bloom in February till the end of March. They other species wait till April and I hope to be able to take pictures of some of them as well although it's harder for me to reach them. Take care, Yair.

  • Hello Sharon. What a magnificent garden this must be to visit. Flowers of all types, varieties and every colour imaginable. It's photos like these that help us get through the dull, cold, miserable and drab winter. I am hoping that spring is just around the corner. Thank you for passing by the day of my Valentine feature and making it even more special. I appreciated you calling. Take care. Best wishes, Jayne/England

  • OMG! Sharon, When I saw this album was just made I got really excited, since we are leaving for Missouri in a couple of hours. I thought WOW! I can go to the gardens and see all this.... Then I read your caption of the album. (sigh) I will have to wait for another season for such beauties to capture. Great album I watched while packing as a slide show. Will look more closely next week. Hugs, Susie

  • Hi Sharon & Bob, Great flower shots, excellent work as always :) I have to look into putting my photo's in another web photo gallery site. We just purchased a new pc with vista home premium and it doesn't not like webshots at all due to it's somewhat invasive program. When I get it set up I'll let you know. Shalom Chuck

  • I loved your latest album. But then what's new. I have loved everything you put on here for a very long time. I have more downloads from your albums than from anyone else. And It is so cold here in Inverness, Florida that even my Poinsettia blooms are ruined. I even had my lights over them. I guess the lights should have been on the ground under them like I used to do it. But my Succulents are fine.
