Album Description:
In the North the Almond bloom seems to be richer, but nothing is to compare to the Almond bloom beside and in the historic settlement Rosh Pinna.

Hallo Galit!

Hi Galit, your new album is very You again! And the almond flowers are charming. Thank you for sharing your flowers and your thoughts. Greetings from Finland, the land of no almond trees, the temperature today is -6C, not bad, getting warmer all the time, if not warmer, lighter. And that is necessary for me. This winter was short when thinking in terms of snow. The darkest days in December and January all black. But I have survived. Looking forward to May of course.. Love, Merike

Yes,Jo Jo, it is going to have Almond Nuts. The nuts are first green and you can eat them with their 'shell' later the shell gets harder and the green part dries out. Then you can crush the shell and enjoy. I have to get some in early summer on the market and post some more pictures.:-) Galit

Hello Galit. Lovely album. All that beautiful blossom and blue skies, Spring has well and truly arrived in Israel. I hope it won't be too long to when our days start warming up a little and we begin to see our sun shining once more. I was so happy to hear from you on Valentine's day. Thank you so much for taking the time to let me know you called. It made my day. Hugs to you and my little friend Yoav. Jayne xx

My friend Galit, this is an exceptionally lovely album. You put a lot of time into it by framing the pictures. I appreciated all the extra information. It is always a pleasure to learn from the descriptions. Your photos are excellent and one could sense your love for nature and your country. Hugs from Florida, Carol

Hi Galit! If only these magnificent old Almond Trees could talk, they could tell so many stories! However, you have done an excellent job of portraying their History in this interesting album of beautiful photos. The delicate blossoms in both pink and white look stunning, especially against the blue sky, and I love the golden glow of the sun in #33. You have a wonderful eye for details such as the fallen blossoms on the moss wall and the fallen flowers resting. Such scenic views over the cemetary, and of course I enjoyed the beauty of the stonework and stained glass windows. Lovely to see such beautiful restoration. Thankyou for a delightful tour of Rosh Pinna, and also for your lovely messages.. Best wishes.. Gladys, Western Australia (www.gladysclancy.com)

Hello Galit, this is a great album, and I do love all the pictures very much. The flower of the almond tree is such a delicate flower, and I like the way you gave tribute to it in this album. Thanks for reacting on the photos in Missy’s album. I did work on the “disgusting” part because I was afraid that that lady would mark this album inappropriate or something. Yes, they grow-up very fast, but they have to because they only reach 2-2,5 years of age and if you are very lucky 3 years. Most of the time when they have reached 2 years, after that health problems start to appear. That is the shady side of them. It is always nice to have a picture or album featured. I also try to answer everyone on the reaction they have given, only the last time it occurred (June 9, 2006) I didn’t succeed, because I was so busy with my parents and their move. And during the time we had those 2 litters, there was no time left to do anything else but take pictures of these rittens, not only for ourselves, but the albums of Yoali and Missy also serve as information for the new owners of these rittens. Pictures in an album at Webshots does have more possibilities than pictures on the homepage of my daughter’s rattery. For now, greetings from a rainy Holland, your friend Els (evanwely/wely246)

Hello Galit, love this album of the almond tree. You have captured it so well as always, it is such a delicate looking flower. I have a small bush in the garden with flowers just like this that I know as a 'dwarf Russian almond' never grows more that 3 feet tall. Many thanks for your kind words on my Chilean fjords album & BA historic ships album, the whole trip was such a magical experience for me. Not expecting to do much travelling this year as my wife is dead set against flying anywhere! Eric

Lovely trees. We had almond trees all around us in central coast of California, hundreds of acres with petals like snowflakes. I didn't take many photos of them back then. Now I am in New York and am visiting your almonds. lol! Thanks for capturing their beauty so well. Dominique from Upstate New York
