Hello again, Eric, Thank you for this superb collection of woodland views as nature wakes up over the months from the beginning of the year. I enjoyed every single picture, going through fairly quickly, then concentrated on the earlier ones (this being the 1st of February) so as not to get ahead of myself ... All the best, Rebecca

From all the pictures I have seen at WS, the English country side always looks so fresh and spring like with it's multitude of gorgeous flowers. Would like to visit it, perhaps in the next century or two ;-) Charley

Lol, speedy Gonzales here! Now that summer's almost over :D, I made it to your beautiful spring album. I am always amazed at the amazing wildflower displays in the english woods, in Germany that is very uncommon. Our wildflowers here in Houston were awesome this year after last year's drought plaqued spring produced only a small fraction of flower displays. Can you believe I didn't get a chance to take any wildflower pictures this year?? I'll be over on your beautiful island in a few weeks, just a few days, but doubt I'll get a chance for a walk in the woods (just the London Jungle probably!):D. Cheers mate, and have a great week! Marita

Eric, I had the most wonderful walk in the woods through your pics. They bring to life the magic that is spring. If possible, I would like to have you take us through the seasons or do theme shots of flowers, then trees, etc. Thanks so much for your beautiful work, Nancy Knowles

Lovely photos Eric - I had to visit UK to get mass bluebells - visited Kew Gardens for the first time in years. We have yellow iris coming out now and the Fuchsia hedges are just beginning to show. Not much in the way of mass colour here except the sky and the sea are blue and the fields are full of calves, lambs and foals.

Hi Eric, great album, great time of the year isn't it sorry that you did not get the sun shine for your iris shots mind you it only shone for mine in between some awfully black clouds, any way thanks for the comment, If you do ever feel like visiting Donington that is only 10 minutes away from us. Best wishes Paul

Hi Eric: excellent idea of mother nature to have spring last with you roughly five months! The more this is perhaps the best period of the year, with the awakening of nature! And your pictures give ample proof! - Thank you for your kind comments in my last Gems and Fossils album, happy to know of your interest! - Best wishes (Kaethi and) Henri

Hi Eric. Isn't Nature fantastic this is great album, which is full of great photos; I especially like those of the snowdrops? I’m busy putting together a wild flower album for 2007 it looks like its going to run into more than a couple of albums. Not knowing the names and identifying them is extremely difficult so if you see I have made a mistake, please put me right. Best wishes Paul

Dear Eric, Magical it certainly is and I just love this time of year I feel so much energy when I walk in woods this time of year. Thank you so much for your visit to my Garden in progress album You will be pleased to know that my lawn mower went to a good home as my fathers fell apart recently.I do have an eye for a good plant and always look for the unusual and with this in mind we took a trip upto Diss and visited Bressinghams last week one of my favourite gardens and I brought some of those plants from the heritage nursery. As for taking pictures I fully intend to out and about as much as I can especially as I now have a Nikon D80 :o)) plus I will always have the garden too LOL Take care now and hope you have a good weekend, Jill

Hello Eric! Sure enjoyed seeing your spring album! Sure love it when spring is in the air! We had a hard freeze here, and spring returuned to winter, and it killed all the new tender buds and leaves! SO SAD!!! Hoping the forest all recover!! Thanks so kindly for your comment in my feature album, Arkansas Scenics. You have beautiful lighting in this album. I love your lighting, and colors, and nature! Thanks again, Carolyn

Hi Eric, Not fair....we had a snow storm in Montreal over the weekend and we are back to winter...my poor little crocuses lost in the snow. I'm moving to England!!! Nice job on the pics - loved the ducks and jealous of all the flowers you have seen already this spring.

Hello Eric, Thanks for sharing your beautiful green forest photos. Spring hasn't come to our forests, but I'm waiting in anticipation for the leaves to come out on the birches and alders. iijoki, Finland

Well, I took to the road following in your steps, Eric!I know the thrill of catching all signs that Nature shows with the passage of months and seasons. Especially so in spring, the rejuvenation of Nature makes one feel alive! Enjoyed watching! Friendliest regards, Gabriela
