Jill, what kind of trees is this woods made of ? The bark is so smooth. I don't think it's anything we have in GA or NY - I don't think I've ever seen them before !

Hello Jill. Can't believe I have never commented on this album before. I think this years display of bluebells appear even more outstanding than last years. You are so lucky to have these woods to visit so close to home. Sadly I missed the bluebells this year and I can't remember why. Summer isn't that great so far, up here in the Midlands. Hope it's better where you are. Take care. Hugs, Jayne x

Some wonderful shots of the bluebells, Jill. Such a vivid blue colour too. We have bluebells in our local woods which I try to visit and photograph each year ... much darker blue than those found in Rannerdale. Jo

Jill, for your bluebell shots alone, you should be on Britain's Got Talent!

Jill, I really like your new additions. The pictures are very beautiful and you did a great job with your camera and lenses. Thanks for sharing all that beauty with us! Thanks also for visiting my album of Israel and my website. It will be great to see your website when you launch it as you have lots of beautiful pictures to showcase and I'm sure the site will be popular. No need to be scared about that adventure. If you need any tips or assistance, don't hesitate to ask. Have a wonderful weekend! Yair.

Hey there Jill, just had to drop by and say thanks for sharing this wonderful album full of delightful bluebells. You've really got to grips with your new Nikon Macro lense and getting low down to flower level is a great idea, I must try that next year:) Thanks for sharing once again. God bless. Don.

Dear Jill, The photos taken using your new lenses are absolutely spectacular. I think the displays of bluebells this year are better than they have been for ages. I wonder how long they will last though if the forecasted warm weather for this week is right? Love, Angela

I am a bit late getting here but so glad I finally made it. I viewed it on a slow slide show and it is just a beautiful album. The colours are just wonderful, with the yellows coming up a real treat! It has taken me back a few years, I can tell you!! Hope you didn't suffer any damage in your earthquake a few days ago - was thinking of you. Love and hugs, Peter

Hi Jill, thanks for your remarks, and yes this year has been heaven so far, everything is early, I am almost ahead of myself. have not been around much, I have found that I was a slave to the PC, so have cut down drastically on Gb's and my participation. I am still taking part but nowhere near as intense as before. it took my life over. Another nice Bluebell album, I think I will update and remove some of the poorer ones from my original. glad to hear from you do take care and the usual hugs, Ken

Hello Jill! I have never seen so many blubells in one go! What a gorgeous sight it must have been; it is a veritable carpet by Nature. I felt a little sad for that lonely Anemone in your album. It must have felt totally overwhelmed!! A beautiful picnic spot to wander around and get one's fill of the gift of Spring time. Thank you for the walk; I truly enjoyed it. Best wishes, Suresh

Looks great Jill :o) We had a great time in Winkworth Arboretum on Saturday, plenty of bluebells there too... and plenty of pics, it'll take a while... And we haven't been carrying on on the North Downs Way, for a while, we have to restart soon! :o) Ciao! Roberto
