Album Description:

An album of above and below-water pictures of humpback whales, taken in the Silver Bank off the Dominican Republic in early April, 2007. We were stuck in port in Puerto Plata for two days, so we have some shoreside pictures as well.

  • This is a wonderful album. You are so lucky to have the opportunity to swim with such magnificent animals. I am a diver, but I've never had the chance to swim with whales...maybe someday!

  • I had to view your whale pictures as well as your feature. A great & comprehensive set of whale photos that would have also have been worth a feature if posted as a purely whale album. How lucky can you get to swim with whales! I have long had an interest in them having watched them being slaughtered in the Antarctic over 50 years ago, a terrible sight! Eric
