  • Hi Jill, yes an ideal walk for someone at the start of a Lakes Holiday. Wainwright calls it a 3.5 hour walk but it took me less than 3 hours including lunch. Another reason why it is so good as a first walk of the holiday is that, for a small fell, the views are outstanding.

  • Dear John, This looks a super walk and it may be a good warm up walk for those who live in the flatlands and aren't used to slopes if you know what I mean :-/ Loved your first view of the hill it looks a proper shaped hill from there :o) Take care now and make the most of the weather I think the wet stuff is on its way.
