Dear Dave, The difference is incredible isn't it and it just shows what a bit of rain can do. We've had our share now too but you'll never find waterfalls here in Kent :o( I will have to look on a map just where this place is so I can picture exactly where you are. So glad like Angela you have found your macro button LOL I have found using cameras out of auto settings is usually better too but took a long time to trust myself to do that. Dear Dave, Wow! you are so lucky to live close to such a beautiful place and you can visit it in all the seasons and you have the tallest tree in Britain too.I liked that your shots showed it with and without water. I wasn't aware that you haven't had enough rain either. Think the forecast is for some real rain next week. I loved the smoky tree shots very effective. Take care now, Jill
