Album Description:

Some dear friends asked me to send photos to their son in Iraq, who misses his home in Gold Beach, Oregon, USA. So I took some photos from scenic Cape Sebastian. This album is dedicated to David. Godspeed!

  • This is a beautiful rugged area. Randy, I think you must have a heart of gold, both for this album and all the wonderful advice you've given. Thanks for sharing. You've changed your picture. Bet you took one of the moon tonight. It was beautiful.....Marion

  • Hi Randy, What a great idea and what a comfort it must be for David. I had seen that foto of Cape Sebastian a couple of times and knew it was in Oregon, but did not have a name for it. What an exquisite headland. Isn't it awesome to think that the same ocean that laps the shores of Oregon where you live, lap the shores of the East coast of Australia where I live - and Webshots connects us as well! Blessings,

  • Randy, Extremely nice album! I certainly missed a lot on my 06 Wild West Road Trip. I shall have to return! Thanks for viewing my Glacier National Park, Montana album and for your numerous and well received, superb comments. The slide show was fantastic. I shall now review the individual shots and comment as you take the time to do. Rick / Arizona.

  • What awesome scenery and photos, Randy! You live in a really beautiful part of the world. I've never been to the USA but from what I see in photos Oregon is definitely one my favourite places. Thanks for sharing, Ornella

  • Very beautiful images of a lovely beach, Randy!! You are such a good humanitarian, how very sweet of you to do this!! Prayers of safety and protection for David and all our men and women who are away from home and longing for the familiar people and places which are dear to them! A beautiful gesture Randy!! Sharon

  • Beautiful album - very inviting photos of the west coastline. So different from our sandy Lake Michigan shore. Take care, DeeAnne

  • Well, this is a wonderful album. It has a restful feel to it, and poignant too, considering who it was made for. I'm sure it will bring a lot of joy, and probably homesickness! Stunning. Thanks for sharing it. Debbie

  • Aside from being homesick, the poor guy probably hasn't seen this much water since he deployed! How lucky that his parents know such a fantastic photographer who can capture the beautiful essence of his home. He must be thrilled! As always, every shot is great. Vicky

  • Well, I hd room for the progressive sunset, but not room for all of these, so I had to choose a couple... Hard choice... My email address is: habersha@knology.net. If you send me this young man's name and addess, I'll send him a greeting every day or two, just to tell him we appreciate him... Thanks for sharing all of this, Randy...
