Randy, thanks for the invitation to view this. Another great album documenting the beautiful Oregon coast. Thanks for viewing my Bryce Canyon National Park Album. Rick/Arizona.

I just viewed your album and didn't realize the reef existed. I have been to the Coos Bay and Florence, Oregon areas a couple of times and once drove up the Oregon Coast from California, but somehow missed this beautiful area. I'm glad I found your album! ...Regina from California

I like the inclusion of the maps because they give you an idea of what it is you're looking at! Thanks!

Hi Randy, this album you have created is a jewel. A great way to show off what your camera loves of the place called "Oregon". I think the album has what it takes to be published and let the rest of the world know how beautiful and gorgeous this place is. It has so many facets, informative, educational and just wonderful too and you have put it together in the most perfect way. Thanks for asking me to visit here, I really enjoyed it. I don't think that I am prejudiced because I am an Oregonian, do you? Best wishes, Trudy

You asked me to visit and comment on this album The Orford Reef. I'll do so for sure reasonably shortly. Have just been snowed under for some time (figuratively - we don't see snow in Johannesburg for decades at a time.) I copy the comments in my blog and print them - then they receive attention eventually!! Stay well!

Randy, your photographs are just beautiful, there is absolutely nothing I do not like. The album is completely stunning. You; as a photographer not only allow a person to really enjoy your work but you put that person right there on the spot as if they are in the same space while you photograph. Thank you for sharing this with us. As I have mentioned before your photos are; Spectacular, Marvelous, Magnificent, etc., ect., etc.

Morning Randy, What a wonderful start to my day...seeing this gorgeous album. The photos are wonderful, the narrative excellent (as one who always wants to know who, what, where, when, how - you've done an admirable job satisfying my curiosity), the continuity great. Please do publish - the C of C should at the very least want this because I'm seriously thinking of packing my bags and coming to see for myself since I missed this part of the coast last time. I definitely need some agates to keep all my other rocks company. In addition to the second to last photo, my favorites are the dramatic stormy winter seas. One can almost hear the pounding surf and smell the salt air (aaahh). Thanks so much for the invitation - I wouldn't have missed this beauty of an album for anything. Now...more!!! Best, Lynne

You have posted some great albums before, but I truly love this one. I can tell that it means a lot to you. I would encourage you to seek any opportunities possible to publish this album. In it, you share a very unusual and special place that most people will never have the opportunity to see first hand. You also share a lot of information that gives the photos even more substance. Awesome job!!

(which I will download in a moment...) and one where the seagulls were flying up..so much goin on in that one...beautuful work...I've lived in Oregon my entire life and not seen any of this! can you imagine! Note; must take trip down south! ~April..like map additions too...

Randy, this is a wonderful album... Like the way you organize it. I often did that for 'hardcopy' album, but never do that for online/web album.. hmmm maybe I will... ;-) Thank you for sharing this gorgeous album, the stories and the idea... Bye, Rita

Randy, thanks for the invitation to view this amazing album. I've seen a lot of tour guides, but this is by far the best. Your commentary is interesting and informative, the maps give perspective and, of course, your photos are amazingly beautiful. I would be thrilled to have a guide like this if I was visiting the area. My 13-year old nephew was visiting tonight and took the tour with me and he was enthralled. He was surprised he could have such a good time on the computer without a joystick! Thanks for 75 minutes of pure pleasure. Vicky

Randy, thanks so very much for telling me about this incredible album. I was fascinated from the first frame to the last. Your descriptions and background information add so much. Thank you for all the effort you've put into this. Are you a geologist by training or hobby? All the best to you, Carole

Really got into this fascinating story! The organization and superb narrative allow the stars of the show, the wonderful photographs,to shine in their contextual orbits.~~~Folks who live in this area,or visitors, would benefit greatly if this marvelous "story" were readily available to them!

Seriously beautiful images in this well organized, informative album, Randy, and I can't think of any better tour guide than yourself to show off its charms - after all this is your turf (and surf!), so no one knows it better. Thanks for inviting me to comment - you know I love all your work! (And thank you for such thoughtful words about mine - you don't know how thrilled it makes me feel!) All the best, Kathy

Randy - Caught this nifty album a couple of hours ago and while you were updating, I was also updating a new album. Guess we're even on time lines. There's a place somewhee around you right on the coastline that is similar to the coastline of Australia, high cliffs and all, somewhere between Bandon and Port Orford, it would take a hike in order to see it and its worth photographing in your interesting style and history!! I'll see if I can catch the name of the place and get back to you via email. Thanks again for the history lesson. ron

Hi Randy, I like being called the "Tahoe Kid". Wow this is a very special place! Thanks for sharing it with me. I never knew about it although I lived in OR for a little while. It is so much fun to put research into a place like this. I am going to have to come back later and read more about it, although I did see all the photos! Awesome! You could publish it for sure!

Excellent, Randy, really well done! I for one do appreciate captions (although I must admit sometimes I am just too lazy to do the research :()Some albums are fine without captions, but albums such as this superb collection of images is surely enhanced and made complete by adding the captions, drawing you into the experience...Congratulati ons! Have a wonderful day! mARITA
