Hello DeeAnne, This is a bird that I don't know, but he is really beautiful, and I love his attitude to that food. hugs, Margaret

Hi DeeAnne, Great idea and great sequence! I particularly like their body postures and the colors of the adults. When I was growing up, I was an avid baseball fan and the Baltimore Orioles had dark brown and orange uniforms. So, I always thought that the birds of the same name must have the same colors. When I noticed my first Robin, I thought that it must be a Baltimore Oriole. It wasn't until Webshots that I learned the error of my ways. I'm a New York City kid. What did I know about birds! Best wishes from Florida, Paul. Thank you for your kind words on my Yellowstone album. It is a beautiful place with the best wildlife outside of Africa, but for sheer landscape beauty, I think I prefer Yosemite.

Good morning DeeAnne, thank you for dropping in on my latest album, and you kind comments. They're always welcome, and appreciated. How lucky you are to have such beautiful birds visit you, and to get these amazing photos. It must take a lot of time and patience to get photos as good as these. Thank you for sharing; best wishes from Keith.

Hi DeeAnn, sees that Bonnie has distributed the manuals to hypnotize the feathered ones, but to see that he/she takes a drink......wow. Thank you for sharing. Giancarlo-Italy

MissDee your friend had the right idea. I actually just sit outside behind my new Magnolia tree. Most of the birds around here aren't that skiddish. I usually go out and sit real still in a chair and fire away! Hugs Bonnie

Hmmm what else was in the preserves ;-) Great shots. You really are going to have to delete your "amateur photog" category !! Those bugs look like the one that we found on our window, looking in, last Halloween day -- real spooky looking !! Charley

I've always liked these birds, even though we don't have them here. These are wonderful photos. Good for you for sitting in a blind for over an hour ... I doubt if I would have been that patient!

I enjoyed your orioles album. I don't see these birds very often here in southeastern VA. Thank you.

This album gave me a lot of pleasure. I stick to my choice: bottom 2nd from the right as numero uno and top far right as close numero duo! I am ready to return your Old Car registration; like the birds and shoe trees much more!

Hi: I have all kinds of bird feeders and houses. I enjoy them. I primarily try for golden finches and tree swallows. I think I'll try those strawberry preserves. I believe I have seen those orioles too. anyway, nice photos and I enjoyed my visit. Jerry

I tried for several weeks to get photos of the Baltimore Orioles. They are very skitterish and any movement at all would send them flying off. Finally a friend came over and had a very good idea - hide and shoot from a 'blind'. I was hidden except for the finger that depresses the shoot button on the camera. I am never happy with a photo thinking it could always be better - but I sat for over an hour waiting for these guys to come to my deck and taste my strawberry preserves. These photos will have to do until I get better ones. The last is a video and the sound is of the golf game, not the Orioles. :)
