May 07'- All day at Rio Del Mar Beach

A wonderful collection Jess!! The air is so sweet, so very refreshing, and the beautiful blue isotonic waters and long stretches of warm sand are wonderfully inviting and so very much alive!! I love to sit at the shorebreak and let the waves wash over me as I massage the therapeutic sand onto my face, arms and legs... God it smells good. I also love and feel a deep spiritual affinity with the ocean and her marvelous creatures, enjoy long walks on the beach searching for treasures in stones, colourful sea glass and coral and lava pebbles... also on the horizon for hints of the mysteries in the deep. One of my greatest rewards as I was standing on the seacliffs of Hana gazing out over the churning waves and crashing surf was to see a Humpback Whale leap into the air right before my eyes as if to greet me! I shouted out Hello!!!! Oh my God!! Practically jumping up and down like a small child it was so thrilling!!! I wish you a lovely day my sweet friend!! Sharon

Beautiful Album, as I was looking through it I thought I recognized the Beach Cottages and the whole look of the area. I used to live in the San Joaquin Vally and loved going camping at New Brighton & Seacliff. When I saw the pier & the sunken boat & knew where these were taken. I didn't remember the name of the beach just Capitola. That is such a gorgeous area. Catch you later, Bonnie

Hi Jess, first thank you! secondly, Wow this looks so very familiar to me, (we were just there about the same time as you maybe we ran into each other and didn't know it)and go there about once a month for a week:)We stay in a Condo right at the end of Rio Del Mar Blvd. 2 blocks away from the beach and the Restaurant is just a little walk away for us. Good food there. That's where I took all those pier shots and beach shots. The Seascape pier is just so beautiful and with the Cement Ship(a.k.a.) S.S.Palo Alto Ship at the end of it. Do you live there Jess? Geez You have some great collection here! We won't be back there until July because we are traveling to the Midwest for our grandsons wedding. Greetings from Thea 2hrs. Hi Jess!!! Wonderful album! I love the coast to. We just spent one week on New Brighton Beach campground and 3 day on Sea Cliff.This is a wonderful place to go.Love all of your photos,we had fun with our grandkids.They loved the sand and the ocean to.Greeting from San Jose. Marika

This has been an amazing journey for me looking at your pictures. They have brought back some fantastic childhood memories of great times at Stone Boat and along the beaches there. I would also like to thank you for sharing your morning walk with the rest of us here at webshots. Kathy
