Hi Tony, very interesting camera observations. Water is such great topic and you have executed many nicley composed photos in this lovely presentation. Thank you for comments and asking many interesting questions under 'Moose Mountain Hike'. However in Canadian Rockies you should expect to carry your equipment and go backpacking. In Canadian Rockies majority of hostels or hotels are located in major tourist centers e.g. Banff, Canmore, Jasper in Alberta or Golden, Panorama, Fairmont, Nakusp, Revelstoke in British Columbia. Unlike in European Mountains where hostels are located on the top of “hill” here you have to be independent hiker! In Rockies you have to carry your "stuff" with you and do not expect any hospitality from the person who is on charge at the "fire lookout". You have to be in pretty good shape to explore backcountry, away from civilization and to know at least basic skills of survival and be prepared for anything unexpected from the weather to attack of grizzly bear! By the way trails are defined by description in the guidebook. Cheers, Rafal (avid hiker :)), just returned from exploring Selkirks-Valhallas in BC...
