I must go to Lisbon Zoo now, with my new camera to see if I get some nice shots. But the lenses I have don't have a great zoom power... Dear Vera, what a wonderful treat your album is of the Tiergarten Schoenbrunn! I enjoyed the slideshow in the WS Photo Mgr. so each photo could be full-sized. You have beautiful shots of so many animals. The Koala, Elephant, Mandarin Duck, Wolf, and my heart warms to see more of your lovable-looking Giant Panda. My dear Vera, thank you so much for visiting my "Cats" album. I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I had lots of fun making this album, even though some of the photos were not easy to take due to the fences in the enclosures. Also, big cats are not the best photographic subjects because they generally tend to avoid big crouds. I was very lucky to be able to take some pics on the Leopards on the Serval last week. Both of them tend to hide most of the time. But in general i think i did preatty good job:) Soon i'll be posting another album on Primates. Hope you can drop by and take a look. Hello Vera, thank you for your messages in some of my last albums. I am happy you enjoyed the Sago palm and the Vineyard snails. They are projects I enjoyed very much, especially the Sago palm. Also thanks for looking at my submissions to the weekly challenge. I didn't have the time to follow-up those challenges, but I think they are a wonderful project. Working on the same challenges lets much more appreciate what the other members come up with. And there is a lot to learn and of course to learn to see things. I am so happy you went to the zoo again. It is one of those places which never disappoint. There is always something new! I absolutely love the cover shot of the still sleeping Koala! What a brilliant shot! Your have so many pictures of Koalas, but again you surprised me with this one. Isn't he gorgeous!!!!?! The American Rhea baby chicks were the next ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh and ahhhhhhhhhhhh! They are so cute! The speaking stork seems to smile! At last the pictures of the Pandas are the top - again! I didn't know that it is the eldest zoo in the world. There is something to learn in every album! :-) Vera, I hope you are well and do not have to suffer from the totally crazy weather I heard off about Southern Germany. Apropos Germany: I didn't see there the bloom of the Chestnut trees. I found Only a pink variation - and only the end of bloom, but I found beautiful garden flowers and totally green and beautiful fields. It was a wonderful vacation. Have a wonderful day!! - Galit
