Jesus

  • Very nice album. Dragonflies are such interesting creatures. I, too, have tried to photograph them, but not with such good results as you have got. ...Regina from California

  • Lieber Henry und liebe Kaethi! Da habt Ihr ja mal wieder tolle Fotos mit all den Dragonflies, usw. Wirklich gut gemacht....

  • Kaethi and Henri: I watched the slid show of your dragonfly collection with great interest. These are some incredible flying machines. The focus and colors in your pictures were superb, Very well done; your pictures could be published in an entomology text book. Take care your friends Norm and Cindy

  • Hi Kaethi and Heinz, these are just spectacular! My thanks to Beat. I can't believe there was one he didn't know the name of! Just kidding. Do you differentiate between dragonflies and damselflies? We would call the smaller ones who hold their wings folded when resting, damselflies. I probably told you already that I am very fond of dragonflies and damselflies - their delicate, lacy wings, intense colors and beautiful form. Thank you for sharing these and for taking the time to label them all. I'll be writing soon. Carole

  • Hello Kaethi & Henri, you have taken excellent photos here and we have enjoyed what we could download of them. I will have to visit again on my computer at work; my home computer is very slow. Norm & Cindy

  • Dear Kaethi and Henri, I enjoyed very much watching your pictures of the dragonflies. So far I do not have much luck with taking pictures of dragonflies, and also did not see many species of them. At least I had the opportunity to meet them thanks to your album and pictures. Thanks for sharing with us! I will travel in few days to Iceland and I hope to come back with some pictures and share them with you. Wishing you a wonderful weekend, Yair.

  • Hello Henri & Kaethi, I am surprised by all the different species of dragonflies that can be found near Pau. It is a paradise for the ones who love these beautiful little animals. The album is very beautiful and instructive, the photos are great. I myself would be afraid that they fly away when I approach them, but you seem to have developed the right tactics. Anyway, have a nice weekend, Tjebbe

Danke vielmals fuer eure liebe Worten im Gaestebuch von Visit to the Zoo. Liebe Gruesse, Els

  • Hi Kaethi and Henry, these little creatures are so beautiful the way you presented them in your photos. An excellent album very pleasing to view. How are you both keeping? As I have probably told you, I am very busy at work in the summer in Niagara Falls on the Maid of the Mist boats. I managed to get a 5 day getaway in a conservation park north of here and enjoyed canoeing, cycling and hiking with my wife and family. I'll be posting an album of those 5days as soon as I have some days off work. Regards from Paul in Canada.

- Alles Liebe fuer euch Beiden - Galit

  • Hello Kaethi & Henri - This is a wonderful album and I'm quite envious of your ability to capture these flighty little creatures so beautifully and so closely. You must hypnotize them first! Seriously, this is delightful and I appreciate the naming too, it adds so much. I hope you both are keeping well. Best regards- Lynne

  • Hi Kaethi and Heinz, This album is a beauty! I must leave for now as it is suppertime here and then Julie and her family will be arriving for the weekend. I have a photo I want to send to you so you can tell me what is going on with the dragonflies I shot at MBG the other day. I did not want to upload the shot to Webshots because I think the Dragonflies are having more than just a casual visit, but am too dumb to know the behavior of the dragonfly, so maybe you can help me! :-) Hugs and love, Sharon

LOL. Ganz herzlich, Barbara

  • Kaethi & Henri, you put me to shame by finding out all the Latin names. I guess I am lazy & took the easy way out by using the common names for my few. I must try harder, as they are all listed on dragonflysoc.org.uk that I use for identification being only a beginner at natural history subjects. Enjoyed this album that you have collected over a couple of years I see, some superb close up's that i find are difficult to get. Good work, Eric
