TOKYO at night

Hello Gabriela! These are fairytale like pictures of Tokyo by night. I have been to the city several times, and have always admired not just the lighting but also the artistic way in which it is done all over the town. Night shots are difficult at all times; you have done ample justice to this great city at night. Your night photoghraphy is impeccable. I take it you are up somewhere very high to take these shots. I hope you were safely tied to a balcony with your camera so you did not blow away! Gabriela these are fabulous additions. The whole album is brilliant. The panorama views you have taken make me feal as though I am right there with you. I have never seen so many tall buildings together and never seen so many night lights like this. Photos of our city would be a few light bulbs in the distance by comparision. Our tallest building is a mere 21 floors. I am fealing a little dizzy now :-) and a little scared of heights :-) Love the album.. hugs Susan

Gabriela, these wonderful night photos from around Tokyo brought back fond memories from my trip last summer. I so much enjoyed strolling around the Ginza and other areas at night, and now I almost feel like I'm right back there. We did not go up the Tokyo Tower, but we did go to the top of the Metropolitan Government towers in Shinjuku several times in the evening. Thanks for sharing! Hello and greetings from South Africa. What an impressive album this is - well planned and structured, technically spot-on, yet combined with an artist's eye. All cities are beautiful at night (even the grubby ones), but Tokyo has a magical, glittering appeal of its own.

Hi Gabriela, thank you so much for your visit in my December 2007 album and for the review you made, it is very much appreciated. Thx for all of your time. And to answer your question, yes I always use a tripod at night and at dusk. And in some of them I used a very shallow dof, playing around with the light. This album is very nice with all the lights at night. Tokyo is surely a beautiful town and it gets alive at night doesn't it! It is a pleasure to go through with the slideshow.
