What wonderful pictures of the lake and cottages. Ours was not features but thats ok we know what it looks like : ) My husband Scott and I are the 3rd generation to live in the same cottages on Big Bass Lake with my Mother across the yard in her cottage. Both cottage's used to be the Woolsey resort cottage's built in 1904. It is quite an honor to own one and keep it in the family. The lake has gone thru many changes in the last 48 years of my life. My family and cousins the (Matson's) will have many Big Bass Lake memories to pass down for many more generations. Karen Williams (Aupperlee)

I love this album. It reminds me so much of where we live now. Three years ago we lived in the city and came to our cottage for weekends. We loved it so much we decided to move to the cottage. The only problem was that we ended up doing a whole house remodel. YIKES too much work. But it's almost done now. Your photos in this album are just beautiful.

I wanted to leave you a comment because my grandfather owns a cottage on Big Bass Lake, and it is own family gathering spot all summer long. You have taken beautiful pictures of some of the places there. I will comment on the homes that I know. You did miss ours. :). No hard feelings, it is behind some trees, and you probably couldn't see it very well from the shore. Glad to see that there are others out there that love this place as much as we do. -Kelsey

Wow beautiful cottages! Now this is where I should go for my August Birthday! We went to Sanibel Island in Florida, which was nice also, but it would be nice to get out of Florida. I loved the poem to go along with also. Thanks for sharing this lovely place!
