I booked my room at the lodge :D (at least mentally :D), it has been such a looong time since I've been to suttle lake, no idea there was such a beautiful lodge up there! You should have spent the night April (acutally I wanted to see pix of the rooms :D). Hope you are doing well, beautiful, and enjoying the dry Oregon Summer? Thanks also for comin' to visit with my Love of Horses album, sorry I am so slow to respond. I am still not back on horseback 2 1/2 years after my accident, but it's o.k. I had hoped to start riding again when I was in Germany in Spring but dragging my luggage thru Paris Airport for 45 mins and the next day falling up my parent's stairs kinda put a damper on that and set me back again for god knows how long! Thanks for visiting my album and commenting on Michelle's and Morton's picture. She's just as beautiful inside as she is outside!!! ....of course, I am a TAD prejudice. thanks for the trip down memory lane... my family (parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles) and i used to drive to central/eastern oregon each summer on a two-week camping trip. i distinctly remember bend, sisters, and suttle lake, which is where i caught my first fish!! i also recall watching an eagle and osprey fighting in midair over a fish the osprey had snagged from the lake. in fact, i was just telling my husband about my adventures at suttle lake a few days ago. thanks for sharing... it makes me want to take a road trip and see it all again through the eyes of a grown up. -k
