I dream on! My kind of holiday too! Loved teh album. I can see your batteries recharging with all that excercise biking, cooking, out in the canoe and the fresh air. It looks to be the idea spot with so many photo opportunities too. Sunrise, sunset, reflections.. gorgeous. Special family time as well, sad part is having to go home. So glad you enjoyed my feathered friends, their ponds are not at fabulous as your getatway but a small diversion from a very busy work and home life. A pleasure to hear from you Paul.. regards Susan.

Paul, this is "my kind of escape"! It's obvious that you had a terrific time there. I think that vacation shots are among my favorites, because up here in our northern latitude, we so quickly move from season to season, and midsummer glories fall before the inevitable onslaught of the cold.

I like the way your album tells the story of the camping trip - there is a progression to the pictures. You have captured the tranquility and the grandeur of the place and revealed something of the character of your family. Thank you for these lovely pictures.

Hello Paul! Finally made it! LOL! Thanks so much for your recent visits, and comments. You sure have beautiful grandbabies! I sure miss getting to be with mine as they grow up, and they grow up so fast I might add! It has been so hot and dry here, the leaves are already turning brown, and falling to the ground! Not so sure we will have anything left to photograph for fall! Guess time will tell! Enjoyed these photos a lot! Thanks, and stay well my friend! Carolyn

Your "film" camera??? That was a step back in time, wasn't it?? Paul, your photos are just gorgeous though, I would have never been able to tell they are not digital! Most of the reflection shots are absolute knockouts! It looks like you had a quiet, relaxing, but fun vacation with the family. Well deserved, I am sure. So are you all done with the Maiden of the Mist for this year (still waiting for pix from that one :D). Big hugs. Marita

Hi Paul: indeed, you must have had a wonderful time at Algonquil Park - beautiful place, visibly not crowded at all, which is elsewhere not the rule in summer time! We enjoyed not only all the smart places, but were delighted to meet all your family. The days there must have been a special event for your charming grandchildren! Thank you for this nice report! And by the way: thanks also for your kind words of August 6 on behalf of Ida's passing! - With cordial wishes from home to home: Kaethi and Henri
