  • Hello, my dear friend! Such a gorgeous album you have here! Crepe myrtle trees give wonderful flowers and you've captured them in all their glory! Thank you so much for sharing their beauty with us. I'm still very very busy, but today I tought I would visit you:) Between my Mom, my walks, my theatre work, gardening, bricolage, house cleaning and a new puppy girl full of energy, I have no time at all:))) I'm not even participating in the Challenge these last weeks! And how are you doing with your busy life? Still much heat in Israel? Here we have less heat now and we had a lot of rain with some floods in a few districts, but not here, thanks God! Huge hugs to you, dear friend! Have a very nice week! Rosa

  • Hello Galit! This is a spectacular album of a beautiful tree. As the name indicates, it is a native of India, and blooms here in the hottest summer. Apart from the pink, purple and white blossoms, there is also another variety called Lagerstroemia thorelli which has white flowers with pink fringes; truly pretty. Your photography does great justice to this flower. I enjoyed the slide show. I just came back from a two week trip to Alaska, and am busy sorting out my pictures. It is quite daunting. Thank you for sharing this splendid album. Best wishes, Suresh

  • Hallo Galit!

  • Hi Galit, so it seems to be both, I looked it up in Wikipedia: Lagerstroemia (crepe myrtle or crape myrtle)! I have never seen these but in Kellimays photos (I think). They look fabulous when photographed by you, thank you for sharing this beauty! Merike

  • Galit, This album is really beautifully done. Crape myrtles are so hard to capture, but you have done an excellent job. Ours were particuarly pretty this year. We also have two red varieties. Thanks for sharing. I need to update my album with some new shots. Hugs, Carol
