We just had some thundershowers go through Provo and it reminded me of this album. Thought I'd take a second look at these wonderful captures! Great job. Mike.

Howdy Martina. The lightening shots were incredible! How did you do that? By just keeping the lens open until the lightening flashed? Or did you keep taking long exposure photos and then selecting the ones that actually captured the lightening (the later is how I captured the falling star photo in my APPRECIATION album). Our lake is quite small to find on a map, but its about 5 miles south of Cape Blanco. You could google earth Port Orford too and find the lake, since it is in “town”. Otherwise you can check out the first three images in my THE ORFORD REEF album, which are maps. The third one shows Garrison Lake in the lower right corner. Stop by any time! -Randy
