Hey J. I know! They can be VERY territorial! I witnessed while I stayed at Norms in June/July. He has three hummer feeders - each side of the house (not at the front); and I would watch them and if one of the others got low and they tried to go to another feeder THAT particular feeder's hummer would squeek and scare the "intruder" off. It was amazing. And on top of that the wasps that liked the sugar water managed to scare of the hummers. They would quickly go in for a drink but if the little waspy bees (and I'm not talking Yellow Jackets, but lil' bee-like wasps) would come to the feeder and manage to push the hummers away. Wow! It was such feeder drama! And your new cam is great! You need to tell me about it! Love you!
